"The prices at T.J. Maxx were not very reasonable. I noticed one item that I bought last year from a Dollar Tree for over $7 at T.J. Maxx, which was concerning to see. I'm wondering where/how they get their merchandise and what the actual values are."

"I just left this store a few minutes ago, and I'm a little annoyed. When I checked out, the cashier asked me if I had one of their TJ Maxx cards, and I said no. She asked if I wanted one, and I said no again. She said their card could really help save me money, and I said I know, but that I'm in the process of buying a house, and I can't open any new lines of credit. She didn't even wait for me to finish before she turned and started talking to a fellow employee. I guess this person was putting things away, and may or may not have been working yet. Full on conversation while I'm standing there. I only purchased 1 item and kept trying my card, but nothing was happening. She finally turned back to me, said my total and hit a button so I could run my card. Then, while still talking to whoever was at the end of the counter, she took the receipt and stuffed it in the bag. I had my hand out to take it to put in my purse, but it was already in the bag. SHE'S STILL TALKING TO HER COWORKER! I reached for the bag, and when I lifted it up, the tags sticking out got caught on something at the register, and that's when she finally looked back at me. This was all in a matter of minutes, but I felt like as soon as I turned her down for the credit card, 3 times by the way, she could care less. She was more interested in talking to the coworker. I won't be making an effort to come back to this particular TJ Maxx. There are plenty of other good ones with cashiers who don't ignore you when you check out."

"It’s a TJ Maxx, so if you’re familiar with their other stores, then you’ll know what to expect here. However, this is one of my favorite TJ Maxx locations! Totally worth the drive to come here! & If you’re unfamiliar with TJ Maxx, I highly suggest you check it out! It’s better prices on name brand goods than other department stores, and has options for everyone."
