Petco Grooming

"Crystal C is amazing with my dog Royce! She does a great job grooming my golden retriever and gave me his photo from his previous grooming session with her which was so nice! She is so caring and compassionate and I will most definitely be bringing him back to her!"

"Had my Bernedoodle groomed here. The groomer was very nice and did a great job, but I was very uncomfortable with the waiver they made me sign. The staff insisted that I had to initial several “optional” paragraphs on the waiver, which indicate that my dog has matted fur (she didn’t), has an active flea infestation (she didn’t), and that I authorized them to apply any flea or tick treatment they deem necessary. I argued that the optional waiver items should be checked by the pet owner, as part of their initial inspection and check-in. (The groomer did check for mats and fleas and found none before insisting that I had to initial those options.) More importantly, I already treat my dog with flea and tick preventative, so I cannot allow them to apply another flea medication, which could cause an overdose or adverse reaction. The groomer assured me that they would contact me before applying any medication, but the assistant manager and the store manager insisted that these “optional” items must be checked for all dogs. I would readily sign the waiver if it indicated that the groomer might find unforeseen problems, such as a parasite infestation, which could result in additional services and charges. But the “optional” paragraphs indicate that I am aware that my dog has specific problems, and that I want Petco to add services to take care of those problems. I will not return until they update their waiver form."

"The staff here are always very attentive, friendly, and personable. I started going there when I lived in Mount Lebanon. I've since moved downtown, but still make the trek to this Petco for grooming services because the staff is the best. I have an older dog, and they always treat him very well and are very gentle with him. This time around, I brought in my newest pup for the first time. While he was a bit on edge during the appointment, the Petco staff worked with him to make him feel more comfortable and gave me a complete report at the end. 10/10 would recommend to a friend."

"This was my first experience with Petco Grooming. I have been using the same small biz groomer for years and for several reasons, needed to find someone new. I asked two neighborhood dog owners who I see out walking who does their dogs, as their grooming is perfection. Both said Jena at Petco. So my first dog was done by Jena Sunday and he looks amazing...she did the best job on him that he has ever had. And he has never felt so soft. I am so happy. My other dog goes to Jena this Saturday."

"My dog looked fabulous and smelled SO good! Everyone, Michael, Laura, Dawn, Jess, were so nice and very accommodating when I had to retrieve a vaccination record with an actual signature. You can tell they really love the animals and the job they do!"
