"I have been a regular at the Hair Cuttery for the past 5+ years, but today I had an awful experience at this location. I asked for 1 inch cut off of my hair and lots of angles/layers/dimension. Instead I got about 5 inches cut off of my hair and not a single layer, just a straight across cut in the back with no angles. After she took the cape off I had to tell her that she didn't do the angles I asked for and so she took her scissors and cut uneven/choppy angles. My hair us completely uneven on both sides length wise too- one side is way shorter than the other. I called to get a refund so I could get it fixed elsewhere (obviously didn't want to trust them with my hair again) and I was told they couldn't refund unless they see it in person. I already spent 1+ hour of my time off of work and they wanted me to come in so they could "fix it". They can't add the 5 inches back to my hair that she chopped off!!! I said I could send pictures or a video but I don't have any time to come back in. As a regular customer who has never once complained you would think they would refund my $28 hair cut given it's not even closed to what I asked for. She just chopped off 5 inches that's going to make months to grow back. Do NOT come here to get your hair cut or styled."

"DO NOT ALLOW JULIA TO TOUCH YOUR HAIR. I came in for a root touch up and blowout today as I have in the past. Not only did my hair not get properly colored at the roots but she was rushing to blow dry. When I let her know that the temp of the iron was not hot enough she PURPOSELY HELD THE IRON ON MY SCALP. How UNPROFESSIONAL and INEXPERIENCED of her to behave in such a rude way towards paying customers. My hair is terribly heat damaged now, and the experience today made me feel like Julia wasn’t understanding my concerns or listening. She insisted that she did a great job but when you look at the exact front of my hair there are multiple visible white hairs that I paid to get taken care of. If the manager is reading this, please reply and I would love to speak with you more about this experience. Julia, if you’re reading this, go back to school you need it."
