"Pet People in McCandless Crossing in the Northhills is a great store. I use their dog wash. It’s awesome. You get treats to get your dog motivated to get in one of their 3 tubs. They supply the shampoo/towels & even an apron to keep you dry. They have a cool-air dryer & surprisingly my dog isn’t afraid of it!! You can’t beat the price & the month of December they have a special 5 washes for $50. A great stocking stuffer !!!"

"This PetPeople store very recently had their grand opening. They had sent me a coupon in the mail, so I decided to visit the store and see what they are like. When I first entered the store, an employee courteously greeted me, told me about their sale, and told me where the products for cats are located. The store was very clean and well-stocked. The aisles mostly had products for dogs, but they did sell products for cats also. I was able to select a few products that I had never seen at other stores. My cats went crazy over the catnip buds and a few unique toys. I expect my cats to enjoy their treats as well. Some of the everyday prices were a little high, but they were a good deal with the coupon, and other prices were comparable to those of competing stores. Note also that this store has a few self-serve stations for washing pets."
