Reviews of CVS
"Called and spoke with Dan in pharmacy, he wasn't willing to wait 2 minutes to pick up our prescription for my wife's muscle relaxers. Dude was super rude, I wouldn't recommend."
"Nice clean store, appears to be recently remodeled. There is a great selection of seasonal and everyday HBC items, and they have a nice selection of local books to purchase. They are located not to far from the beach there, which makes it nice. Sales people are friendly and helpful."
"If you have Medicare and are disabled please carefully consider using this pharmacy, specifically at this location. Certain Medicare companies partner with CVS and recipients can get a quarterly stipend for certain over the counter products but please note that you are not required to fill your regular prescriptions there. My mother uses this pharmacy and has had so many issues that it boarders on dangerous. She is disabled and does not drive so she is dependent on reliable delivery of various medications for diabetes and other serious conditions. The closest CVS to her is 35 min away so she was happy to take advantage of the free delivery service offered, thinking that this is her only option to use CVS. We spoke with the pharmacist at the drive through window, me being present in the car at the time, and set up delivery - verified address. There were two separate occasions that life saving medication of hers (including heart/diabetes) were not shipped at the right time, she was not notified, and was out of medication for 3 days. When I found out I lodged a formal complaint with the manager and again we verified address and delivery and had to specify again that we exclusively want only delivery. This was twice. Then - CVS decided to start charging for delivery and used my mother’s card that was on file. My mother is on a fixed income and did not know the charge was coming through at the end of the month and delivery was denied. Her medication was not sent and she was not notified. Again, I lodged a complaint and was informed of the issue that suddenly they were charging a monthly fee for delivery. I put my debit information in the system so this would not happen again. She was out of medication for two days. The final straw was when my mother was prescribed another glucose meter by her doctor. I drove from out of town to pick this up for her only to find out it was out of stock. It would not be in for two more days. No call, no notification. Nothing. This cannot happen. As a pharmacy you have a responsibility to those in desperate need of care, to offer reliable services no matter what the insurance, no matter the disability. You cannot be a manager of a pharmacy and use the excuse, “I can’t believe my team did this. I’m going to kill my team.” This is your responsibility. Fix it."
"I've called three or four times in a row trying to get a hold of somebody in the pharmacy with a simple question. CVS has chosen to run their customers around instead of directing you right to a person in the store that can help you. Shame on them. Do better CVS."
"So, I never thought I’d be rating a CVS store, but my wife and I have been so impressed with the staff here that they need to be applauded. They are friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful. That’s why we go out of our way to go to this store. Prices are good, and sale prices are great. I love nuts as a snack. CVS nuts are, in my opinion, the best canned nuts in town. Usually on sale too. Based on the remarks of others here, there may be a problem with the pharmacy staff, but the retail side is wonderful."
