"Pet Works is a local chain of pet stores. This particular store offers a large variety of foods and supplies (beds, leashes, toys, etc.) for dogs, cats, and other animals. I purchased a few cat treats and a couple of cat toys. The prices were OK. The cashier accurately rang up my purchase. I no longer have a dog, but I noticed that this store sells many baked dog treats."
"I had previously used another business for bathing my dog, due to the access to a dryer.(My dog is a breed that needs to be thoroughly dried to check for and prevent matting) I decided to try PetWorks because it is closer to my home and had similar amenities. I checked the website and the pricing was about the same as well! That is until I get there. I was told in store that the advertised price is per half hour and that “everywhere charges by half hour”. They absolutely do not. Previously, I have been able to pre-pay for my time in the wash area. (Wouldn’t be possible if I was being timed) I felt rushed and unwelcome, as if my being there was an inconvenience and my already stressed dog was made that much worse because of this. This was our first and last bathing experience at this business and it is unlikely that I will return. There isn’t anything here that I cannot find somewhere else."
"I had a great experience here today with Holly! She was extremely helpful and patient with us while we found the perfect item for our cat! I can’t wait to come back and check out more!"
"Very Clean very friendly place. Our dog loves going into the store and picking out her own cookies! Associate Linzi was great with our dog and a great help with finding everything we needed. Only pet store we will be visiting for now on."
"After going to this store multiple times and having great experiences and taking our dog there for his milestones to get special treats along with other visits, today we ran into a staff member that is either new or we've been lucky and never been there when she was working. When we got there the young girl that was working was pleasant as always and greeted myself and my dog. I had taken him to get a bath and the other middle aged lady took us back to show us everything since this was our first time bathing him there and she wasn't the friendliest person at this point and acted as if it was a problem when I asked about the dryer because not very many people "need" to dry their dogs. I blew it off and washed my dog and dried him. I took him out of the tub to dry the bottom of his paws because it's hard to get them dry when the tub is wet from his bath. When I did this she immediately came back before I was even able to get him settled to dry his paws saying that the dryer must be used only in the tub because it blows hair everywhere. First, I have a dog that doesn't shed (I understand everyone doesn't know every breed of dog. I did mention his breed and by looking at him most people know he doesn't shed ). Secondly, when I was drying him in the tub I had to blow fur from other dogs away. I tried to tell her that I was just drying the bottom of his paws, however her rude tone and demeanor about it made me grab my things and pay and leave with his paws wet. I brought him home and dried his paws at home. To be clear, it wasn't what was said to me it was how it was said and the tone. I have always used somewhere else to bathe my dog and took a chance today to try your store since it's actually closer to me. I will continue to take my dog where we are both treated well on every visit. We will no longer purchase anything from your store. I am very sad that one terrible employee has ruined it for us, but I will not take my pet somewhere he doesn't feel welcome and he wasn't comfortable with her. He loved the young girl with long brown hair."
