"Had a leak from my fridge that ended up bleeding into my basement. Servpro performed the clean up and repairs to my kitchen and the basement really quickly once the insurance cleared everything. Would recommend these guys for any future work I need."
"I called and my insurance company called them several times for an estimate after Jeffrey came out and inspected my water damage. They never sent an estimate. Iβd call that bad business. Stay away. Not very professional. Walked into house without taking shoes off or covering shoes with disposable booties."
"Before they even started: I had to call four times to get the estimate emailed to me for our insurance. During their work: They damaged parts of the wall and flooring that were not being replaced and said nothing about it. One of the employees scolded my fiancee because another employee put the drainage pipe for the dehumidifier in a pipe that was running uphill. Of course, this caused more flooding , and even though they had come out and taken measurements every day, we were still expected to check their work and notify them if there was a problem. I was asked to fill out paperwork that they never took at the end of the job. After the job: Didn't take our insurance deductible. They didn't walk us through what they had done. They just took their machines and that was it. I have called six times to get the final invoice. I'm told they'll email it but, my insurance adjuster nor myself have gotten it. When I called yesterday, she told me she would find out what was happening and call me back. I didn't receive a call back. I'm tired of calling them about it. TLDR/: Unprofessional experience with staff that do not care about the work they are doing and blamed us for additional water damage they caused. They also damaged part of the wall and flooring that were not supposed to be removed. We won't be using their services again. ___ Update___ We were charged for moving items out of the room and putting them back up. The problem is that we moved the boxes out and nothing was put back. Why were we charged for this? Still no resolution to any of these issues. I've attempted to speak to the manager again today and she was on another call. I waited ten minutes, then hung up. I've sent an email with the hope that they will help us. This is asinie. A customer shouldn't have to go to such lengths to make sure you get paid. I've never had this type of experience and I'll tell everyone and anyone I meet or know not to use you all."
"Stay away from this company. After I've used them in my home state of NY. Had a bad sewage damage. This company doesn't take pride in their work. Never covered my TV or speakers. Was more concerned on stealing from my home. The Management is a joke they don't honor the word. They let their employees at the age of 17 and 18 years old work in your home and still stuff. Thanks SPARTAN FOR ALL THE WORK THEY DID. Please beware of the worthless company. As I had my claims adjuster on the phone the job site manager never denied what happened. I will be filing a police report and more."
"I called Servpro for a flooded basement from a leaky old water heater. The problem area was essentially one carpeted room. Response time was great. I was comfortable with their knowledge in the field. They were friendly with myself and my dog, and the team was professional and respectful up until time of payment. I feel like they succeeded in mitigating water damage, and preventing mold in my home, which is a very big deal. The one issue I had was what I believe may have been the result of a failed communication between team member. I was told before work began that the baseboard along one wall would be sprayed, as there were some dark flecks on the bottom of the baseboard, along one of it's five sections (the middle one). When the work was performed, all five sections of the baseboard along that wall were torn out, and they were never put back. At the end of about a week of work, i was handed my final bill, and a satisfaction survey, and was asked to fill it out. It was at this point, I asked if the baseboard was going to be re-attached, and I was told by a team member that wasn't present at the beginning of things that all five sections of the baseboard had been thrown out. I received a call, and I was told by the original person that I spoke with that the paperwork I originally signed clarifies that they don't do restoration work. As a homeowner, I think a change from "we're going to spray your baseboard", to "we threw out your baseboard" is significant, because it means I need to locate the proper one, have it delivered or picked up in someone else's truck, and measured and cut into five sections with a tool that can handle the job, and have the end cut at a 45 degreee angle with a separate tool that can manage that job. This is significant information that could've been passed onto me prior to me making a final payment and giving my satisfaction ratings on the survey. I think it is important for the company and for future customers to recognize the importance of communication. If a customer is told to expect something, then future team members should know what that customer expects, and keep them informed of any and all changes to their homes from what they were told that they can expect. Nobody wants to get a last minute surprise, and then be told what was written in the paperwork that they signed; as if you're supposed to ignore what they the professionals tell you, and just pay careful attention to the documentation instead. As someone who is unfamiliar with the subject, I also don't know why all sections of the baseboard had to be removed, when not all sections were in areas of direct moisture. Is it due to indirect moisture? If so, then why not remove the baseboards along the other walls? This would have been another beneficial thing to discuss with the professionals regarding the change while in progress. If not for this one thing, i would have given a high star rating, but I believe this one thing is significant."
