"I had scheduled a test here late last year. They couldn’t get me scheduled until today. They asked me to show up early. I did. Over an hour later, they were dumbfounded when they asked me to wait another 45 minutes and I declined. They didn’t consider that I have kids who need to be picked up. And of course they could not reschedule me until the end of March or early April. I had not eaten at all today. I was told I wasn't allowed to have caffeine. As I told the staff, some sites online had said not to eat or drink before this procedure, so I had not eaten just in case. I let the staff know this. This was thrown back in my face: "We didn't tell you that you couldn't eat." What I shouldn't have to say in a waiting room--one in which I already easily heard about the ailments of every other patient who talked to the nurse behind a thin curtain--is that I have IBS-D and don't eat until I get home from medical procedures for fear of getting sick from the anxiety. I am military and have lived a lot of places and had health care at a lot of facilities. Today was simply unacceptable. I don't know what the delay was today because we weren't told, but as an attorney who hung her own shingle and tried to treat people so they knew that their time meant just as much to me as my own, I would never have handled a delay like this was handled. One other point: This facility had people in nearly every waiting room chair at one point, even in the sub-waiting room. There is no need for people to have four family members with them. Also, people who are sneezing and coughing in the winter should be required to mask. I am immunocompromised, and you are putting me and others at risk. I had such positive memories of your hospital because my baby was born there and the staff in the OB unit was wonderful. I had left Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg a positive review previously because there was had a wonderful staff here at one time. But last time I had an MRI, there was a blip, and today was an abject failure. I honestly don't even know if I will reschedule this procedure. Do better in the future, please."
"Worst billing practices ever! Every time my husband used this place they were promptly paid by Medicare and our Medicare Supplemental. Months after getting paid we always receive a bill saying there is a remaining balance( the part that the supplemental insurance had already paid). Calling them is like talking to a bunch of scam artists, they will not admit to any errors on their part. I have to keep making copies of proof of payment and mailing them in. I expect at least one more of this phoney billing practices because they were recently paid for work done before my husband passed."
"I have called to make my appointment for several days this week, even left a voice mail for a return call, which i have not received. My next move is to call the doctor ordering my CT scan to ask for advice. This appointment center is the worst I have ever encountered. I call and wait in line on the phone for my turn only to have the phone call ended by the appointment center. You can do better. UPDATE. Apparently, I was using the incorrect phone number. Do not use the Google info. I call my doctor and they directto the correct number. I talked with "Dorothy" and she was a great help."
"The front desk was amazing!! Very welcoming in the front BUT when I got in the back the student was very nice and explained everything to me but the actual tech was VERY weird. I didn’t get a hello or anything just weird stares and attitude. I will never come back here."
"The medical care I have received here is outstanding, that being said, their billing practices are criminal and have ruined my credit rating. I have layers of insurance coverage and should never be billed for any doctor requested procedure but somehow they have repeated messed up payment submission on a number of different procedures. I have tried to straighten this out with numerous phone calls requesting itemized statements only to be trapped in telephone hell -- never being able to talk to an actual human and never receiving the itemized statements I requested to submit to my insurance. I am off to try again, and if I am not able to get satisfaction this time, I am contacting the Attorney General's office with a formal complaint. I suggest you do the same if you have had as much trouble with them as I have had. We need better treatment than this. They don't deserve the one star I am forced to leave."
