Reviews of Labcorp
"Honestly, I wouldn't take the time to fill this out if I didn't consistently have such positive experiences. No matter which nurse I'm seeing for blood draws, it's the only place I'd prefer to have it done. It's never painful, never leaves bruising, etc. I had a lot of bloodwork done at a fertility clinic a few years ago, and it was always awful. When they'd send away to labcorp, I was always much happier because I knew my arm wouldn't look like it had been through WWIII by the end of it! The front office staff has remained the same over the past few years which is also truly impressive these days. Clearly you are doing something right here. The ladies at the front aren't the most smiley or warm, but they are FRIENDLY and professional. I wouldn't ever think to leave a review for a blood draw place, but you guys are great. Never a bad experience. Keep it up!"
"I brought my toddler here for a blood draw, and Ms. Nicole helped us. She was SO friendly and sweet to him. She was also prompt, and converstaional. Very happy for what could have been a traumatic experience."
"I have blood drawn every two weeks. This office is never busy when I go at almost any time during the day. I am overwhelmed and anxious having blood drawn so often and hanging on to my health having to manage a blood disorder. There are usually two regular phlebotomists ready to draw my blood. They never have any kind of a personal conversation which I am ok with but … I am there so much (not wanting to be there in the first place) but feel like they just want to get this over with. I have done nothing wrong but I am only at the lab’s mercy. So I handle it ( at 80 years old) each time because each regular phlebotomist is excellent at what they do. But, I do not want to have another/new phlebotomist draw my blood again. It hurt and I was black and blue. Because I have it done so often I need to have a say. A new phlebotomist came in to draw my blood and asked if she could draw my blood. I am sorry but I said no. The regular phlebotomist came in… speechless and boy did I feel uncomfortable. They both know me and yet I got the COLD shoulder. Well the last time I went … two weeks later. another new phlebotomist came in .. did not ask if I wanted her to draw my blood … poked and hurt me with a large black and blue and sore for me to deal with after. My dilemma: I can refuse having someone new draw my blood again but know how uncomfortable a situation it makes me feel because of their reaction. The lab is relatively close to where I live. This lab has an intimate feel unlike other labs that I have gone too because the two Main phlebotomists are very good and never hurt me. I just don’t want to deal with this next Tuesday when I am due to face this situation. So I am looking elsewhere for another Lab Corps because this health condition of mine is for the rest of my life."
"Lunch break from 12-1pm means nobody is available to answer phone calls during that time. They were open on Columbus Day, which was very convenient & helpful. Just know that even if you're walking in, you still need to "digitally check in" at the tablet kiosk near the door before speaking to the front desk folks. When I walked in, there were 3 other patients in the waiting room. I was a bit annoyed to see a staff member not looking up to attend to anyone and instead she was openly playing "pop the bubble" type games on her cell phone, just laid out on the front desk for all of us to see her screen and see exactly what was more important than paying attention to checking patients in. So all the receptionist work was being done by the other lab tech since there were only 2 staff members total at the front desk. When it was my turn to be seen, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the same phlebotomist who was too busy playing on her phone earlier actually ended up being quite skilled at her clinical duties of quickly & painlessly drawing blood! So I guess it all evens out, the positives & negatives, which is why I'm giving 3/5 stars overall."
"I had a 10:45 appt for lab work (blood draw). They ask that you arrive 15 minutes early, so I checked in from my car at 10:32. You have the option to wait in your car and they'll text when they're ready for you, but I decided to go in and sit in their air conditioning (10:38). The woman at the desk greeted me immediately upon entering- I didn't even have a chance to sit down! The waiting room was clean and peaceful. I was invited to go back to a room right after handing over my lab order form, and the woman was in the room to help me by 10:44. She took care of everything very efficiently, while making polite small talk. The blood draw was quick and painless. At 10:47 she told me to have a good rest of my day! I was in the office for less than ten minutes and left the building 2 minutes after my appointment time! Probably was my best experience getting lab work done."
