"I would like to say that working with Splash was a great experience, but I cannot. Things were great until there was a problem with what we ordered. On the front end, customer service was good. We ordered a custom tub for a bathroom remodel. We had discussed all the requirements with the individual at Splash and settled on a tub that we were told would work. We needed a center drain, in a specific size. When my plumbers moved the tub upstairs to be installed, we learned it had an offset drain. It was centered front to back, but not left to right, which was also needed, and discussed with Splash at the time of order. We contacted Splash right away. At first, our contact was quite apologetic, and said she would call the manufacturer, which she did. The manufacturer said that the tub was as specified in the order, and they would not return it, nor would they take it back for a restocking fee, because it was a custom order. We had hoped that Splash would do something to make it right, that was not the case. They basically told us we made the mistake in ordering, that they had given us all of the specs, and we made our decision. They seem to have forgotten the part where they guided us through the process of what we needed. They were not willing to do anything to make it right. We are now stuck with a very expensive custom tub that cannot be used without completely ripping out a new shower, which Would be more expensive than buying a new tub. We will have to find something else and figure out what to do with the tub they sent us. We will find a new tub somewhere other than Splash. We expected Splash to be subject matter experts, given their experience and the high-end nature of the store. We also expected that they would take responsibility for an ordering error on their part. Neither turned out to be the case. I know many customers have had very positive experiences with Splash. Sadly, we aren’t one of them."

"Not sure my experience yesterday (9/19/23) could have been more awful. Entered the showroom at 3:10PM. Walked around the showroom twice without any employees appearing. I was in the showroom for at least 10 to 15 minutes before a older woman appeared, surprised to see me. She said, "Oh, I have to make a phone call", and proceeded to get on the phone. I waited. When she got off the phone a good five minutes later she just continued to look down at papers in front of her, leaving me to wonder the showroom for what by now was my fourth trip around. I left. She could see me heading toward the door I am sure. The vision of a potential customer walking out must not have motivated her any more than my presence in the showroom did. FYI: I am from Fox Chapel and earlier this day met with my contractor who mentioned Splash as a place to pick out all the things for my new bathroom. I was in Murrysville for other business and decided to stop. I need(ed) a tub, toilet, two lighted mirrors, tile, sink/vanity, and all new fixtures. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this store. Awful. Did I appear too young to this old woman to afford items here? Is this her normal level of service? Was my brand new BMW in the parking lot not sufficient to justify her attention? Whatever reason, I at the very least deserved to be greeted in a timely manner and address nicely. Do better, SPLASH. Do better."

Phone calls and emails were returned promptly and she was candid about realistic time frames for orders and deliveries. And she has a great sense of humor!"
