"We had a lovely time there and had the restaurant almost to ourselves. We had the rigatoni cacio e pepe and bucatini a la carbonara, with the most perfect tiramisu for dessert that we have ever tasted. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was cozy and romantic. We will be back for more!"
"Although the food, cocktails, and ambience was great, I was disappointed with the service and how much “junk fees” I paid. There was only one waitress working and after two hours she forgot we were seated for awhile and thought we were new customers that were seated. Service was incredibly slow. After we got our check, there was gratuity already added on the check so I didn’t think I needed to add any. Then when I signed the credit card machine reader required me to add more than 20% tip. What a rip off! I’m not going here again. Either figure out a better budget plan for the year where customers don’t pay “extra” or figure out how to downsize with the limited staff that you have Sfoglina."
"Beautiful interior with okay food, better dessert. The rigatoni cacio e pepe was salty and dry, with a stale texture to the pasta that came across to me as if it was reheated in a microwave? The chicken add-on brought the price up by an unexpectedly steep $12 (total $36), which I was not made aware of when I agreed to it. I am a small eater, but without the chicken, there would be a laughably small portion of pasta for a full-size entree price. However, the Nothing But The Best cocktail was great (albeit on the sweet side), and the swirled vanilla & blueberry balsamic gelato an absolute delight. That balanced things out a little—I would come back for drinks and dessert only."
"The food was amazing, they have a great collection of pasta and anti pasta dishes. We tried the rosemary bread, it comes with ricotta cheese, chives, olive oil and rosemary. We also tried the seafood spaghetti and the squash ravioli, both on the special menu, both were very tasty and large portion. I got my child the grilled chicken which she actually ate and really enjoyed They also have a nice collection of wine and other spirits The servers are very nice and accommodating."
"This place was an amazing find! The atmosphere was quaint and authentic. Our service was prompt without being rushed. I think we may have even been served by the manager who wore a suit, sat us, and took our orders. He didn't write a thing down, yet remembered everyone's order. He was able to recommend a bottle of Super Tuscan red wine that was fantastic and was patient with us as we asked lots of questions about the menu. The only dish that was a flop was the calamari appetizer, which he stated was one of his favorites. Not sure if it was prepared incorrectly or just not our flavor pallet, but it just tasted burnt. Favorite dish on the table was the goat cheese stuffed ravioli with added grilled shrimp!"
