"I had a horrible experience at this practice from start to finish. I went for an appointment to confirm my pregnancy and was referred to radiology for the ultrasound because the ultrasound tech was out… Fast forward to the following week and I received no calls regarding my results, so I call concerned wanting an appointment. I schedule an appt with Dr. Lackner and he tells me “so you’re having twins” in his office… just like that. I said no one told me this and he said in my chart it was documented that someone called me but no one did. I asked to see the ultrasound results and he said “we don’t see those anyways” which really confused me because I don’t know who actually read my results….. moving forward I was supposed to be seen every 2 weeks because of being pregnant with twins, but that didn’t happen. I didn’t feel like a priority at all and did not get an ultrasound scan the whole time I was there. Seemed really incompetent to handle pregnancy for multiples…. I was not treated any differently from a singleton pregnancy even though I was more high risk. Calling was also a nightmare, communication was really bad and I cannot imagine having a medical emergency and trying to get a hold of someone here. Fast forward to about 16 weeks (still no ultrasound scan, I had not at that point even seen my babies)… I elected to do a blood test for spina bifida and my results showed my numbers were “elevated” and they referred me to a fetal medicine specialist. Elevated. That’s all that was explained to me. I scheduled an appointment with a fetal medicine specialist and they informed me that the number from this test would be elevated since I was pregnant with more than one child and this test wasn’t appropriate…. They were confused why capital women’s care would even have me do this type of test. I finally got an ultrasound at this appointment and saw my babies for the first time, and also saw that I was pregnant with 3 BABIES. I found this out at 17 weeks. Now I’m getting bills saying I owe a copay at Capital women’s care when I was told that I would not owe anything for a routine appt. Do better, Capital Women’s Care. You certainly can’t do worse."

"Rude, condescending front assistant. I walked down to setup a wellness appointment and she was very defensive. When she threw a "that's what I just told you" I grabbed my referral and ran out of there. Disgusting customer service. Her colleague was watching her demeanor the whole time, it was so awkward. Why would anyone want to come here and feel demoralized."

"Horrible, they are super slow and the website they gave was incorrect to fill out paperwork. So I wasted my time & energy filling out new patient paperwork and had to spend at additional 30 mins past my appt time to fill out paperwork. Then I attempted to get the information for the type of testing I was getting for my newborn and they did not have the correct codes I needed for my insurance to look up the testing correctly. I was late for work because of their inconsistencies. Horrible facility, stressful experience & staff was mediocre. Don't go here if you looking for OBGYN care or prenatal care."

"Very bad customer service from Dr.Lakners office, on two separate occasions they were rude to me with basic questions. Waited two weeks for a response and when I call to speak to someone with regards to scheduling of a procedure which is a big life choice they have no solid responses but for me to wait 14-48hours to get a call back. With their rude attitude to me as a patient it’s hard to feel comfortable and safe in their hands with such a big decision. No phone etiquette whatsoever. I’m not happy with this treatment or service."

"I would highly recommend Capital Women's Care to anyone looking for an OB GYN. I have been with them for my 2 pregnancies, they have delivered my sister & daughters baby. They are very attentive & they show they care. I recommend any of the drs honestly! The fronndest staff is very nice Office is super clean & the nurses are nice as well. I generally visit Germantown bc it's closer to my home but will have no issue driving to Rockville for an appointment! Looking for an OB/GYN make them your first & last stop!"
