Reviews of Labcorp
"Been twice and both experiences were about as pleasant as they could be, given the circumstances. In and out and FAST reporting to my employer. Just get there by 11a and (I can't guarantee, but I got results the same day) you should be ok."
"5 stars for Chanel the phlebotomist who drew my blood this morning. She was accommodating, engaging, and kept me distracted through the blood draw which is something that gives me tons of anxiety and often causes me to faint. She even drew my blood from a less common vein to accommodate the fact that I have frequent blood draws. She should be in charge and given a raise. She even listened to my concerns about the rudeness of the other tech. I really didn’t want to take things out on her, but I was anxious and scared and it may come across as anger in the moment. This is how it’s done. This is professionalism. 0 stars for the first phlebotomist, a slightly older African or Caribbean woman with glasses. She was rude from the moment I walked into the clinic. I walked to the window because I was the only person in the waiting room and without even saying good morning she said “use the iPad”. So I did. Then the same woman called my name and asked for my paper, at that point she was able to say a simple good morning. I then heard her say something about how she isn’t paid enough from my seat in the waiting room. When I was called back into the draw room I went to sit on the reclined chair and she told me “no”. I told her I have problems with fainting and prefer to lay down. Her response was to scoff and say, “my back”. I immediately asked for someone else to draw my blood because I don’t want anyone to touch me who is not competent of their job. Chanel to the rescue! It’s wholly inappropriate for a service provider to openly make it clear she doesn’t want to accommodate your medical need. A vasovagal reaction is common and needs to be accommodated, for everyone’s safety. If she can’t physically perform the job duties and also doesn’t have good bedside manner she shouldn’t be working there."
"I was at Labcorp on Observation Drive this morning, Thursday, July 6th, 2023. I clicked the button while still in my car that I was here. I went upstairs and there was a man outside and he said he was told he can't go in until exactly 8am. There is a waiting room - why can't you wait there. Doesn't make any sense. Anyway, I got a text saying the lab technician was ready for me. I went in and sat down. A woman in a white coat, no name tag told me they don't open until 8am. My appointment was for 8am. I told her I got a text saying they were ready. She proceeded to yell at me, saying no they don't open until 8am which was fine since my appointment was for 8am. She yelled at me again and said check your text. I repeated in a normal voice that I got a text. She yelled again and said check you text. As it turned out I was at the wrong lab but yelling at a patient is not the way to handle any situation. I don't like to describe anyone but since she didn't have a name tag and I hope Labcorp reads this I need to describe her. She was a black woman with short curly black hair. I've seen her before when I've been to this lab. She was over the top rude. I think she needs to not be in charge of this lab plus she needs training in how to talk with patients."
"I know many people have a different experience depending on their situation, and I fully respect that. I found myself in a time crunch to submit a drug-screen. This office was located an hour away. I found myself here after dealing with one office that no longer provided drug-screening, and many others closing by 3pm. Although I arrived after the cut-off time, the nurse still allowed me to complete my drug-screen which they did not have to do. This saved me a lot of time due to a 3-day weekend, and delay with processing. I'm extremely thankful for the outstanding customer service that this location provided. I wasn't asking for special service. They stepped up and offered it, and that is deserving of a 5 star rating in my book. Thank you!"
"Visited lab Corp for a test. It is located inside the medical office building which is connected to the Holly Cross Germantown hospital . There is no visitors parking in front of the Building. So you have to park your car in the hospital parking and walk to this building."
