United Check Cashing

"This place charged me $6 to cash a check for $56 and didn't even provide me with a receipt! The attendant was very nasty and assumed I was trying to "get over" since the address on the check was a different town. I guess they never heard of mail forwarding. I felt racially profiled and will never go back! Update: I’ve given this check cashing place another chance since I’m still living in the neighborhood and the new employees here are amazing. The women always have positive attitudes, smiles on their faces and are welcoming. I’ve been using United all year to cash checks from one of my jobs and I will continue."

"Been going here for years brought my wife in today in order for her to cash her first paycheck at her new job and because I had her sign it in the car they won't cash it. The owners making up these really weird stringent rules according to the lady that always sits at the right side of the counter. Sadly it has changed so much I strongly recommend to avoid it because once you bring to their attention that these are asinine rules being put in place that hold no merit or effect on anything and you ask why they become very rude. If you're looking for a recommendation for another check cashing spot I would even recommend to drive a little further and go to aces in levittown nobody deserves to be treated like a second class citizen when they're trying to cash their money."

"Something is off with this location & the staff. They ask for social security numbers - they take utility payments & then you get all these different providers at your door trying to get you to switch services. Seems as they are selling our personal information to 3rd parties. Just their behavior gives a non-trustworthy vibe. BEWARE. Something is off & not right. It was never like this when Bob & Linda had it EVER. Stay away from it."

"Never had any issues with checks here, been going here for 12+ years! For the people complaining that gave a 1 star review, Its not their fault for having to be cautious with who they do business with or how they do it. They are not a big commercial bank if they get ripped off they take the hit! Treat is the same as going to your local bank, don't expect them to do anything for you unless you have your ish together, or have been able to establish a good standing rapport with them."
