Visiting Angels

"TERRIBLE!! I set up home care for my stepmother through the VA and was assigned visiting angels. Throughout the process of setting up a regular scheduled person there were CONSTANT issues. Horrible communication, staff was not versed in dealing with dementia patients, sending people who were scared to death of dogs when they knew there was a dog in the home and REGULAR cancellations. My dad had planned trips out of town numerous times and was told at the *last* minute they couldn't send someone leaving us in the lurch. We have since switched to a private caregiver and will not be going back."
