"This is a top notch facility and based on our experience and experience from people we know who visit many nursing homes, this is the best medical care / nursing home facility in the Cumberland Maryland tri-state area. Honestly, everything they do, they do well. The facility is managed well; the staff are very professional, helpful and kind; physical therapy and occupational therapy are excellent; activities for the residents are well planned, varied and numerous; the dining, whether taken in the dining hall or served in the room is delicious and very nutritious (according to my 95-year-old mother). Housekeeping does a super job of keeping things organized and clean. They are helpful in arranging transportation to get your family member to off-site appointments, or if you prefer to pick them up yourself to get them there, they work with you on that, too. On-site nursing care is superb and doctor care is available as needed. They took in my 95-year-old mother with a broken arm and unexplainably weakened legs and due to great care, excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy, had her back in shape to return to managing on her own at home within a short 2 months. All in all, an excellent experience for us working with this superb facility!"

"Not very happy with the care that it’s giving at Dawn View. A nurse named Stephanie is rude and my mom has fallen twice and I feel it’s the nursing facilities fault when they know that my mom is a fall risk the second time she broke her nose, and her face is bruised, I would never recommend Stephanie caring for my family member. The rest of the staff is fairly good and takes good care of my mom."
