"I stayed here a few years back.. Chris very nice and was more than accommodating.. I had rented a house for a week .. he went out of his way to put air conditioners in so I wouldnt be hot .. I stayed there quite a bit after that too .. never had a problem.."
"My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. Every time we come from New York. And we've always have been treated with the up most hospitality. One of the guest services members named(Frank) is such a nice guy and always makes us smile. And(gladis) was so nice to us when we checked in. We will continue to be faithful customers. See you guys next year @ecconstayinn"
"The moral of everyone story is nasty rude Gladys Roberts, I stayed there before she was even thought of due to homeless situation. When she entered the picture she took over the place like it was hers.. She is rude, nasty, threatened me with a shotgun disrespectful And think she owns the place. Now I did write a review then and I'm writing one now because it seems things did not change I know because a friend stayed there a week waiting for her place. The owner must not care as he allows her to continue to be there, take action and put her out. I will say this pre Gladys the place there were a few little issues always fixed issues . After her nothing, Chris was always kind and sweet, willing to help other staff as well thanks to her wanting her family in most of them left as well, only thing he did wrong was her. Get rid of her and the place can probably get better rating and reviews."
"My husband and I had just moved up from down south and needed a place to stay, we saw that this place was affordable and we made it home for a few months. In our stay we encountered many problems, mold, no hot water, drug addicts, and disrespect. As a manager myself I have never in my life seen people so unhappy. Chris Roberts was easy going and easy to talk to. Gladys Roberts on the other hand was the complete opposite she was rude, and disrespectful had no manners and she felt as though she could treat people on which ever way the wind blew. My family and I kept to ourselves but it seemed as though that was a problem as well, when we did make friends it was an issue as well. The front desk clerk Megan never had a clue as to what she was doing, she tried to charge us an extra 20 dollars, and once while I stood waiting to get quarters for the laundry she charged a customer who did not have a dog for a dog. Thank God he caught the mistake because he would've been charged an extra 10 dollars a day for something he did not have, when he confronted her about the problem she began to have an attitude with the man as if it was his fault. We asked to change rooms because the room smelled like mold and we have small children, but because the managers wife Gladys did not like me, they did not change it I had written a review before this one and the manager informed me that if I took the review down he would change rooms. Luckily a week later we were out of that place. But they have poor management, very rude, and nasty, I guess they feel as though because people are there waiting for there house to be done, just moving to a new place or do not want to be homeless they can be mean and disrespectful. If you are just passing through maybe staying for a night no problem, but if you are just moving or lost a home and need a place to stay, do not stay here. They will be in your business open up your mail and give you trouble. At least if you stay for a night or two you do not have to deal anyone there."
"My husband and I stayed here with our two kids and our dog. They only charge $10 a night extra for the dog!! I have been to places that wanted a $500 deposit for the dog! The room was nice enough, tiled floor the bathroom was clean, as was the rest of the room. They don't have cable, and the wifi was touch and go. But for the money, it was great! We stayed so we could go to the new watermark at Camelback.... Much cheaper than staying there and we got to bring our dog so that saved us a lot on boarding fees!"
