Reviews of Da-Vi Nails
"Don’t go there, I was so pressed to get a nail put on only to be charged an extreme price and an awful looking nail, I blame myself. Don’t be like me."
"I am surprised this establishment is still open for business, given the way they treat customers, and services rendered. I came for a full set, gel, coffin shaped nails with nude natural color. The woman who serviced me sat in the front far left corner, somewhat behind the front counter. The technician showed me a chart with different nail shapes, I told her I wanted coffin shape. On the chart the nails I was requesting were called ballerina, so I pointed and told her ballerina shape. When she started the process I noticed after she drilled my nailbed and glued the tips she did not fully apply the primer on every part of each nail. I brought this to her attention before she started applying the acrylic. She rolled her eyes, then quickly primed all of my nails properly. When she applied the acrylic to each nail I noticed she was not pushing the acrylic to my cuticle bed. The women who get their nails done regularly know exactly what I mean. It looks like two week old nail growth. I also brought this to her attention, she then utters something in her language and proceeds to apply acrylic in the gaps along my nail bed. While she is filling my nails, honestly they looked more oval shaped on some nails, and coffin (ballerina) shaped on others. I expressed my concern, she then told me she was not finished yet. In the end they still did not look like the shape I wanted not to mention more than an hour has passed by now. She showed me a natural nude polish but it looked like it had glitter specs in it. I did not want any glitter, just simple nude natural polish. She assured me there wasn't any glitter so I agreed on the polish. Whelp folks, as she's applying the polish, guess what I see FREAKING GLITTER. By this time I really needed to go and did not have time for her to drill the gel polish off, rebuff my nails and start over. She told me I could come back the next day to change the polish. I did NOT come back, the polish was the least of what was wrong with this full set. I was charged $60 for this mess, I am beyond disappointed in the bleeding polish, the glitter, uneven acrylic close to the nailbed, and poorly shaped nails. I will never come back here again. I wish I would've taken photos to show how horrible they looked. However I made an appointment with my regular nail tech, he replaced the full set the next day. NEVER CHEAT ON YOUR NAIL TECH if they're busy."
"I went there because I happened to be shopping. I requested a mani/pedi. They had to remove my powder dip nails first. I can’t describe the pain I went through while they yanked my nails off with a metal tool and another long acrylic nail. It’s like they were prying a door open! Even when I expressed pain the lady kept going. Two ladies worked on me. The one that did my pedicure and foot nail paint was gentle and did a good job but the older lady that did my manicure was very poor at her job. I was left with lumpy nails and cuts on the skin under nail tips. I had her re- do a couple of nails but the job kept looking worse and worse and they were about to close…this plus fatigue on my part had me wanting to bolt out after the bad experience. I paid $115 for everything because I was in no mood to fight but this is so depressing!! Big mistake on my part!"
"If I could leave zero stars, I would first things first. My mom went to this particular nail salon because she wanted her feet and nails done. The lady that was doing her nails cut her toe and my mom told her that she cut her toe. The lady didn’t even acknowledge what my mother said secondly, my mom told this lady to her face that she was dissatisfied instead of the lady saying “oh I’m so sorry. What can I do to fix your experience here? She laughed in our faces, and walked away, then when my mom told her again for the second time that she was dissatisfied, and that she will never be coming back to this establishment, the lady laughed again in her face and told her I’m the manager, and laughed and walk Away if you’re ever in this Walmart and you wanna go get your nails at Da-Vi nails please do not enter and give this people your business and your money. It is not worth getting your feet and hands cut and not even done the right way and PS my mother told me that she was only supposed to be charge 60 bucks when my mom was ready to leave and pay, they charge her $90 for a cut foot and nails and toes that she didn’t even ask for, like I said again if you’re ever at this Walmart and you go to this nail place please keep walking do not stop and give them your business and your money you’re going to regret it."
"the worst service ever my nails looked horrible they was thick very uneven some looked like a light bulb i was very upset and she wouldn't fix them and she left glue on my hands worst service ever i was so upset and mad who does this type of service"
