"We come here every year on our anniversary. We had a newly renovated room. Easy access to 380 & 80."
"It's always a great pleasure to go there friendly staff fantastic food places all the way around it and shopping places and a lot of places to visit that are good for both adults and children I love being there very plate staff will help you out with anything that you need or looking for if they can and most of the time they do"
"You get what you pay for. All in all, not bad if you want to stay a few days and want to save money by having a small kitchen to work with. We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean, but the place is dated. TV small and reception poor. Water gets hot fast, which is good. Plenty of clean towels. Bed was firm, which we like. Internet service was very poor. I'm sorry, this is 2023 and I want decent internet, even in a budget situation. That alone is reason enough not to stay here again. I was tempted to give this place 2 stars, but the people at the desk were very nice and I had no troubles. Nice people are important."
"I want to preface by saying- my husband and I got a stay at this hotel by going to a time share presentation and we only had to pay the taxes and fees associated with the stay for a week which was around $400 and that's the only reason my husband and I didn't change hotels. I will say that the staff was very accommodating and polite. They even put on bingo night and had activities to do for Memorial Day. The pool, hot tub, ping pong, and arcade rooms available are great. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful. For the majority of our stay, the hotel was almost completely empty which was a nice plus for us but I feel like it spoke for itself in regards to the quality of the facility. The entire hotel is very outdated. I don't think we minded that aspect as much except when we got to the room our bed was a very old and uneven spring mattress. It was so squeaky that it woke us up all week long. It was also just not very comfortable at all. The air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own. Sometimes we would set it to 69 and it would be freezing. Other times, we would set it to 66 and it was very hot. We were rarely a comfortable temperature. They room had food left on the floor from the previous tenant. The back of the stove was incredibly dirty. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. A towel rack in the bathroom fell completely off the wall. The tub was stained. The TV provided was incredibly ancient and small with only local channels and a DVD player. I couldn't imagine spending anymore money on this room than what we did. If I had spent $100 or more a night for a week, I would have been very upset. If I had been comfortable and the room clean, I could have overlooked a lot of the accomodations not being up to par but I would never stay here or recommend this hotel to someone unless they had no other options."
