Reviews of Nail Bar
"Always professional & clean. I've been going here since I was in High School. Sooo worth the wait. There's a standard upheld here that you don't find at other salons. ALLL of the ladies are awesome nail techs. Quality work every single time. My nails never chip or break. I'm always disappointed when I go somewhere else to get nails done but I live too far come regularly."
"I went to get a pedicure and was told to wait half an hour. After waiting 20 minutes, a lady walked in who was told to wait half an as well. But she went in and sat at one of the chairs where they actually do nails. The next thing I know someone started to do her nails. When I asked what was going on, the employee told me she requested a specific employee. They didn’t even take appointments that day because it was day before thanksgiving. I decided to not get my nails done. They didn’t even care. The worst customer service I have ever seen. They don’t treat every customer equally."
"Dedicated staff and my nails look great. Unfortunately the massage chair next to my friend was very old and squeaky, very difficult to relax. Most of the buttons were missing. My technician was overly committed to removing my cuticles and dug into my toes with the tools to remove the excess nail. She proudly showed the chunk that she pulled off. My toe started bleeding and feels infected the next day. Gel mani & pedi felt like it took forever to complete. I will not be coming back."
"A week ago, I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. After less than three days, the gel nail started to come off. I've been told on several occasions that the gel nail is supposed to last for two weeks. I went back to the establishment and fixed it. A couple of days later, another nail started coming off. So, I went back and asked to speak to a manager, to tell them that they either need to replace both hands and my pedicure or give me my money back. They opted to only pay me for my gel manicure. On top of this, I got blamed for their inefficiencies. I was told that I should have asked the nail technician on whether I could get the gel or I should get the powder thing. First of all, I never heard of the powder thing until last night. Second, the nail technician should look at my nails and let me know, whether I should do gel or not. They need to advise me on what is best. The manager also told me that it is not true that gel nails are supposed to last for two weeks, but that all nail salons tell people this. She says that it is based on how brittle your nails are. I've been going to this nail salon for the past three years and they have never asked me if I wanted gel or powder. I ask for gel, they give it to me, with no other questions asked. So, is this false and misleading advertising? To blame the customer is so unprofessional and unacceptable. The manager was extremely rude and condescending. The appropriate response should have been "I am sorry that this happened to you." "We will take the appropriate actions, that this doesn't happen again. But I was berated, for something that was their fault. Never again!!"
"Don't go to Lisa! She's so rude. She burnt me with scalding hot water when I asked her for warmer water for my pedicure. She was very rough and aggressive with my pedicure and dug her nails into my skin. She also kept talking to other employees and made me wait about 10 minutes for my pedicure. I believe she's racist so if your a black woman I wouldn't recommend her. All the other ladies are very nice. I've never had a problem with anyone but her"
