V Nail Spa--Beltsville (next to Panera Bread and near Aldi market)

"ZERO stars this is the worst nail set I’ve had in YEARS. I’m not sure of the name of the nail tech who was doing my nails but I’ve explained and showed him pictures what i wanted. I was expressing to him my nails are too thick ( the acrylic base) and that’s not what I like. He told me that I should have told him from the start but I showed him a picture of my nail inspo ? Anyways he starts filing them down and it’s still thick he’s doing it so rough he’s cutting me making me bleed. I started informing him one of the nails is crooked if he can please file them to even it out he starts laughing at me stating it was my finger? He then got frustrated and told me if I don’t like them he will just cut all of them off for me and not charge me, I was like okay but I need a soak off. He then informs me that I need to do it at home myself or find someone else to do it. I am very upset and never been treated so bad at a nail salon. The nail tech has no sympathy and butchered my hands. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME BACK HERE! To reply to the owner, you did see how upset I was and did try to “fix” the problem by offering me a more expensive service GEL LX. Terrible customer services."

"I rarely give bad reviews. This is place is just too awful not to. I had been before and didn’t like the quality, but It’s close to my home and all I needed was gel take off and regular manicure. I mean how can you mess that up right? Well, the gel is still on my nails. Just buffed down. They never cut my cuticles, and thank God for that because they hadn’t autoclaved and didn’t after using the cutter on me. And while I was there I witnessed the awful treatment of another customer. She complained that one of her nails was crooked and just wanted it fixed because all of the others looked fine. The tech got offended and told her his work was fine. She asked him to correct the one nail and he went to take them all off after she had been there 1.5 hrs getting this work done. She said no and asked that he fix it, and he chased her out to her car. My tech went and brought her back and another tech finished up the work for her so she could pay and leave. It was awful. She didn’t even accept the discount. She just wanted to pay and be done. Do not waste your time."

"Customer service was great, got my nails done by Cindy. Just think it took too long for a regular pedicure and ombre full set. My nails aren't worth the money spent. Cost me $114 but it's only been a week and my cuticles look horrible and there is acrylic under my nail"

"I had amazing mani and pedi treatments from Lynn at V Nail Spa. She was friendly, professional and extremely attentive in ensuring I got the look I wanted for my mani. Will definitely be back to see Lynn soon!"

"My first time there and I did not like my nails at all! I went for a gel manicure because they had great reviews and great photos! But my nails were horrible when I left. The people were nice and the wait wasn't long for a walk-in. But I expected my nails to look great before leaving. They sent a text survey after I left asking about my experience. And the follow up was for me to call them to make it right. It's not the worst customer service but definitely not great either. The photos below of the black tips is how I left V Nail Spa and the red nail polish was me fixing what they had done on the same day. I personally wouldn't recommend this place."
