"Incase you'd rather refrain from reading all of this, I am saying this is no longer Nail Elite and was taken over by some trash nail techs. :) To be honest, Nail Elite was one of my favorite nail salons because of the affordable and high quality care they always did with my nails and eyebrows. NOW, there's a new sheriff and I will never go back. Happy Smile or whatever they call themselves took over the salon when the previous tenants left two-three months ago and they were awful. First off, I bite my nails, its a habit that I cannot seem to shake, I have never had an issue with the countless salons that I've been too, there may have been a side comment here or there but nothing like this. I promise this is no joke when i say the man that did my nails glued the acrylic ON MY FINGERS, his excuse was "because you have short nails, if the acrylic is on your finger then it wont leave a bump when placing the gel on top" which is completely false because that's what shaping and filing is for, I've never had a bump on my nail, but I just let him continue because "trust the process" and I was interested to see the end result. Then after he places the gel on top, one of the acrylics he placed was too far from my actual nail, so it had less support when placing the gel and was visibly leaning downward to the point where I had to say something because the man did not even notice. He fixed it the best he could, but it's still noticeable. Once he got to the cuticle he actually made my fingers bleed and did not stop or adjust his roughness, there's even a cut on my finger, like seen on the photo. FINALLY he finished the foundation and the lady that originally greeted me was doing my design; I like to pick simple designs because I am extremely nit picky with how they look, I want straight lines and to have them fully colored in, this woman could not even manage that! The design doesn't even go all the way to the cuticle and the colors blend into the background. I hate causing a scene and being confrontational plus many of my friend that have been through terrible designs say that you usually cant get your money back, they usually just offer to fix it, but I don't want the Happy Smile people to touch me when they're clearly too incompetent enough to do nails this simple. Word of advice, do not go here. $70 for nails and $10 for eyebrow wax. Not worth it."
