"Took a 100% silk comforter to be dry cleaned here a while back. When we came to get it there were iron marks all over the silk. This was a $300+ Comforter and when we asked for reimbursement they were extremely uncouth and rude when this was their fault. Terrible customer service."
"They Lost a pair of $150 dress pants that I dropped off to be cleaned. Admitted they didn't know where the pants were and that they know I came in to drop them off. I had my claim receipt and they couldn't produce the pants. Brought in proof of pants value after they told me I had to wait 30 days to get any compensation. I got a receipt for value of the pants from Men's Wearhouse with date I bought them and my identifying information that matched my cleaner receipt. Cleaner was rude and told me to stop bothering them (even though they are the ones inconveniencing me with the loss of my personal item) and refused to give me information for her insurance company to file a claim for their negligence in losing the item. Filed complaint with BBB and will never come here again. Also plan to get refund and compensation for their mistake. Save your time and go across the street or to somewhere else in W-S!"
"Great prices and friendly, helpful employees. Service is okay. However, I'm docking two stars because they stapled their labels directly to my pants, rather than around the belt loops. And they did this not just with one staple, but two. So then I got to pick out tons of staples before I could wear my pants. No thanks. (They do get this right on shirts, where they loop their labels through button holes and don't staple them directly to the shirts.) They earned a star back, though, because they impressed me with their honesty. I thought I had lost a Montblanc pen on my last business trip, but discovered I had left it in my suitcoat pocket when it came back from the cleaners. The suit had obviously been cleaned (no wrinkles, no longer smelled like NYC taxis, etc.), so I know they removed the pen to clean it and then put it right back afterward. Consider me impressed. In light of my experience, I'm surprised to see so many other reviewers accusing them of dishonesty."
"Don't bring your clothes. Ruin the crease of my dress pants. The Hispanic woman who took my order was blaming me instead of taking responsibility of her own actions and even after two days they didn't fix it right. I couldn't wear my suit for the special event because of their stupidity!!! I've been their customer over a year and every time there's something wrong. My jacket buttons were broken, etc. I couldn't believe these people don't know how to iron dress pants. They made it so complicated!"
"Lost a favorite, expensive, silk shirt that came back with two holes in the front. I was a victim, as were others, in that they refused to take responsibility for their damage. Also I was blamed for bringing it in that way after which she then offered the idea that I must have moths in my laundry hamper. Why would I bring in a shirt that I would not wear again with holes in it? Duh! I can only assume they think people bring in damaged clothing in hopes of making some money or something like that. If that were true, then they should have better inspection practices of the clothing that comes in to mitigate that risk and not process already damaged clothing. I guess they don't have to as long as they have a sign that reads "not responsible for damage to clothing". I have to give them at least one star to say I hated my experience otherwise none. I had been a loyal customer for years but not any more. I have filed a BBB complaint but expect little to come from it. I hope others read this and know that they should not use this business if they care about their clothing because, apparently, A Cleaner does not."
