"Nails were great. Customer service was trash. I told her what I wanted. Due to the language barrier I did not get that at all even though the lady at the front who speaks English told her what I wanted. Not super important. What I’m more peeved about is why I have to go find my own cuticle oil or lotion when she was done. Like??? She did no cuticle care to begin with. Just started slapping acrylic on my nails. Every few moments she would look towards the door and it was hella weird as if she was afraid another customer would come or she was desperate to leave. Didn’t even tell me she was done with my nails, just walked away. I’m just glad they had a coupon. I’ll likely find business elsewhere. Good luck to this place. It has great potential but the customer service is bringing it down."

"I usually go to Lux on 33rd street however they were closed and this was the nearest location and it was fairly new so I decided to give them a chance. Upon entering its beautiful, I was greeted by a man in the back I’m assuming was the owner (boss mentality) he was very nice. I’m not going get into every little detail but during my pedicure the lady (turns out it was her first day) kept going over my skin on my toes with the drill, the drill was very hot so it was uncomfortable to bare, the drill slipped out the lady hand and I shouted “ouch” in agony it literally caught me off guard but I still tried to stay optimistic. She never asked me did I want a cut down she literally went to work with her handy dandy nail drill. I went kinda of late 6:50pm they closed at 8pm so she may have been tired but to get home and my toes to have came out my shoes looking like this after spending $52 is a smack in the face. I live on another side of town now I have to wake up early and return. I’ll keep you’ll updated but here’s my toes *** UPDATE *** I went back the very next morning and was greeted and asked basically was everything ok I expressed my concerns and the owner apologized and made sure to ask the young lady to repaint the foot (demonstrated what’s needed to fix my concern as she doesn’t speak good English) she then executed and apologized. I’m an easy fix and very forgive with that being said I’ll take my one start to a 4. The young lady who I will not name because again she’s new and getting the hang of things is very sweet and deserve a second chance. I would return again if indeed lux is closed or in case of a last minute urge (impulse) to get my nails done. Gel Color : 537 if y’all wanna give it a try lol I’m all for the girlies."

"I wish I could give 5 stars but my nail tech fell a bit short. First time today and decided to treat my husband and I to pedicures before our honeymoon tomorrow. The pedicures were awesome. I wanted a full set from the picture that is posted on google from this location so not sure if it was work done or a stock photo because once I sat in the chair and showed them she said she could do it then after a few minutes said she couldn't so I selected another photo location and she said okay. I sat in the chair at 1150 and didn't finish until a little after 1. A few times during my session I have had to pull my hands away several times because she kept filing the sides of my finger because after the first few times she already had filed my nail away at this point. She filed a LOT. After the sides of my fingers were red and sore and throbbing by the time I had gotten home. I took pictures and video (but can't upload video for some reason) so that you can see how red and where my nail had been filed down to my skin. Very uncomfortable. I gave 4 stars because we loved our feet but I don't think I can take the pain of getting my nails done. First time every experiencing someone filing like that. I had to have snatched my hand at least 4 times. So this is a spot for our feet but honestly I may just opt out all together. Love the atmosphere and decor. Everyone was friendly!"

"My cuticles were cut really badly. I said something to the nail tech twice, and I’m not sure if she doesn’t speak English well or if she was ignoring me. I hated the design she did on my nails, one side was not even to the other. So I told her to take it off. She huffed and puffed the whole time and was rough with my hands. Per the photos below you can see that the paint was not fully removed as requested, and there is a lump in the thumbnail. And the nail techs spend a lot of time on their phones while performing services."
