"i had a really terrible experience at this place! I called to make an appointment and asked about the price for my nails. The girl on the phone told me it would be $60, but when I actually got my nails done, they charged me $105! When I asked why, she was really rude and gave me some explanation that didn't make any sense. On top of that, the customer service was the worst."

"GO ANYWHERE EXCEPT FOR INSPIRE NAIL BAR IN TOWSON. I had the absolute worst experience yesterday. I had been visiting the shop for more than a year now. The female techs are typically kind. But for some unknown reason, a few had the nastiest attitudes. Let me explain...I always get a design and rhinestones on my big toes. Today, I was rudely told I could not get designs on regular polish. Most absurd thing I've ever heard given it's a "full-service salon". One of the nail techs walked away from me as I was speaking to her about my concern. The nail tech (male) whose station is near the sink is so nasty and rude. He had the nastiest attitude and absolutely no customer service skills. He was extremely rough. He cut multiple fingers during my manicure. Nails bleeding and I had to stop him to ask for alcohol. He seemed irritated and he never apologized. Never said thank you. He got smart with me when I told him how I didn't appreciate my customer experience. I will never ever ever visit this salon. This is the last time the salon will ever receive a penny of my money. I will be calling in the morning to speak to the owner. Stay away from here. I am never one to write reviews but this salon is so incredibly horrible. I felt it was my duty to warn folks."

"I’m really thrown off by the high ratings that this place gets. I originally came here because there were really great reviews. Because I never get my nails done, I just wanted the simple shaping ($25) with regular polish and French tips. French tips are $8 extra. That’s fine, but I didn’t even get a base polish for the French manicure, and nobody prompted me to get one? And now looking in these reviews, someone else got a base polish for their French manicure. So I basically paid extra for a strip of white on my nails. And they make you pay before you even get the polish put on so that it doesn’t matter if they did a poor job, you are forced to pay. I don’t think the job was awful, though I did need to reshape my thumbs because they were crooked. I’m just frustrated by how expensive this was and I wasn’t even given the nail polish base as described in the $25 service. I feel a bit taken advantage of because I paid for a service I didn’t receive. It’s also very dirty inside, and they very clearly reuse the same files on other customers, which is really concerning."

"I wanted to get my nails done before an important meeting tomorrow, but I knew I wouldn't make it to my normal spot before they closed, so I gave Inspire a try as a walk-in. I waited a bit, which was expected with no appointment, but the staff functioned well as a team to make sure no one who was waiting felt forgotten. Nancy did my nails and they're absolutely lovely - she even caught the moment I mentally questioned if she planned to make them narrower at the top and let me know to express any thoughts because she wanted me to be happy. She wasnt heavy handed with the initial filing (I've had a salon cut clean through the top layer before) and checked on me during. They didn't upcharge for things like shaping nails, and also offered complimentary water/soda/wine/mimosas, but I was content with my water bottle. Very clean salon, great service. May have found a new normal spot. =)"

"Clean facility and friendly technicians. However I paid $65 for a fill and repair. My nails look terrible. They’re so sloppily done. The technician told me she could easily do the design I asked for but once she started she tried to talk me out of what I wanted numerous times. The base coat on my French is sloppy and uneven. And the nails look NOTHING like what I asked for. The first photo is what I asked for, the remaining photos are what I got. I would’ve spoken up and asked for them to redone but because of the lighting you can’t tell how poorly they’re done until you’re in natural light. I was also on my lunch break so I didn’t have time for them to be fixed. I will hopefully be able to go back tomorrow and have them repainted."
