"I gave it 3 because this is not the most welcoming nail salon. It’s clean, they offer water. But they will also talk about customers in their native language which I find to be rude & unprofessional. You don’t feel valued as a customer. You ask a question, then immediately in native language my tech has begun talking and laughing. Someone comes and looks at my nails. I’m new to the area, however I have gone to other Asian owned nail salons.. Never have I been treated this way!! However, unlike other cities you don’t have many to choose from. The tech that I go to, does good work. Just wish they were more friendly! Have been venturing out to find other salons. Because I want to feel appreciated where I spend my money!!"

"I’ve been coming to Luxe to do my nails and lashes since December and I’ve never had a bad experience. This is the only place I will go to in York to do my nails/lashes. My nails and lashes are always perfect and they always last longer than they should. Super friendly and great customer service. I schedule on the website and Ive never had to wait longer than 5 min to sit down even when it’s busy. Michelle, Lily, and Peter are my people!!"
"Overall the staff was very welcoming and friendly. However, I got a Full acrylic set. I had an appointment scheduled with Michelle, and did not get her as my nail tech. My nails are shorter than asked for, acrylic not laid smoothly, nails uneven, crocked & different lengths. Polish is bubbly, uneven and on my skin. Very disappointed as this was my first time. Won’t be back again."
