"Keep driving. My wife and I were prepared to spend decent money and so we looked around, but the second we asked about one particular piece we had thought about, Wanda and an older gentleman (maybe named Lou?) with white hair got strangely defensive and aggressively told us they “don’t sell what [you’ve] been seeing on TV” and what we wanted was “cheap foam” even though that’s not what we were talking about (while shoving a print magazine in my face) and then literally escorted us out and told us to go to IKEA without even fully hearing us out, asking us to elaborate, or even seem willing to discuss our other options… Very insensitive behavior and they jumped to very harsh conclusions all while being super condescending. The guy in particular should just throw in the towel and retire if that’s how he talks to people."

"I purchased a leather recliner about 10 years ago from McGill's. A spring which allows it to recline, broke. I called McGills on the chance that they could direct me on how to get a replacement. I spoke to Louis, and he asked me to send a picture of the broken spring. A couple days later he called me to say that a replacement pair of springs were being sent to me. I received them today and installed them. It is as good as new! That is outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend McGills to anyone who is in the market for new, high quality furniture."
