Reviews of Saladworks
"I enjoy ordering takeout from Saladworks because they are quick, provide fresh food, and maintain a clean environment."
"Since the reopening under new ownership everything about it has dropped straight off a cliff. Used to be 5* everything, now it is barely 1 or 2 stars. As many have stated, the items don't look fresh, the portions are skimpy, most of the time the employees do not seem to enjoy working there. Used to be packed there and now barely anyone goes. I've given a few chances since new ownership and it is basically always the same. Such a shame."
"AVOID THIS LOCATION! If I could give less than one star, I would. We have a coworker with a SEVERE and DANGEROUS tree-nut allergy. We placed an order for lunch and he ordered a brownie. He checked the website and it said that the brownies were nut-free. When we picked up the order, we received a 'blondie' by mistake. The wrapper on the blondie was totally blank. There were no nutritional facts or anything else printed on it. So we called the store and asked the person if there were tree nuts in the blondies. She said no. We informed her that the person it was for has very serious allergies and asked if she could just double check because there were no nutritional facts on the plastic. She put us on hold for a few minutes and came back and informed us that there were absolutely NO tree-nuts in the blondie, only white chocolate. We informed her again that this person has a very serious allergy and asked if she was SURE and she said 'Yes, I checked'. Our coworker opened the blondie and broke off a piece and, sure enough, it was filled with walnuts. We immediately called back and spoke to the same person and informed her of the mistake and told her how serious it could have been if he had taken a bite. We were very fortunate that he caught it quickly. She transferred us to her manager and we explained what had happened. He was very cavalier and uncaring about the entire situation. 'Well, it was an honest mistake. I don't know what you want me to do about it. She was probably too busy to check.' But it's not an HONEST MISTAKE if someone intentionally places you on hold and PRETENDS to look up allergen information! He grew very short with us on the phone, as though we were inconveniencing him. We asked for corporate's number and he said 'I don't appreciate being yelled at. I'm not giving it to you. You can look it up online.' He refused to give us his name and hung up on us. At NO point during this call did I raise my voice. I feel I was pretty calm considering how serious this could have been. If you are IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS, you KNOW you CANNOT mess around with allergens, ESPECIALLY nut allergies. I am absolutely disgusted by this manager's careless attitude. I understand times are hard and people are struggling, but this could have landed our coworker in the hospital or worse."
"I’ve been going to this location for years and never started having issues until they reopened last year. Every order I’ve placed is always wrong. They barely give you any lettuce or toppings. Something is usually missing. Even if you go to there it’s not any better. When questioned on how much they give you they say “it’s the new portioning” which is a complete lie because the one in Horsham gives you your moneys worth. We asked for Turkey and the kid had no idea which one in the container was Turkey, and ended up putting spicy chicken on the salad. We were given the wrong salad dressing after we asked multiple times if it was the right one. It’s never the same people working in there. Since the reopening we’ve given them countless tries but enough is enough. We’ll make the extra drive to a different location that knows what they’re doing and doesn’t rip you off."
"Worst salads we ever had! Ordered the Cobb salad and chicken Caesar salad online. Looks like it was made hours before our pickup time … lettuce was all limp and wilted. Hardly any chicken in either of the salads. Avocado in the Cobb was almost black! For almost $10 per salad it looked like only half a salad. They looked pathetic! Oh, we also ordered a soup … when we got there they took the soup and our rolls out of the fridge where our salads were! That was our go to Saladworks but we won’t be going back there!!!"
