"The Bartender was so kind and accommodating, that he offered me a free water when I waiting for a bus. It was freezing last night and I had to wait 19 minutes for the bus to arrive. And so I rate this place 5 stars."
"The aesthetic of the restaurant was straight out of a Tarantino movie! We waited quite awhile for our reservation, but once seated, the bartender who filled in for a call-out was very cordial, kind, and knowledgeable about the restaurant. Their drinks are served with care and their food was delicious (but could've used more seasoning especially in the Tinga tacos). Rating: 4.5"
"Cool retro atmosphere Mexican restaurant and bar. Local favorite! Came for brunch with a friend who is a regular. Bartender was friendly and honest about menu items so that you get what you want. Definitely look forward to going back next time I'm in the Graduate Hospital area. There's indoor and outdoor seating."
"The food is very good. Loved the mushroom and soy chorizo bowls and quesadillas. The ambience is okay and the space is small. The outside seating has a lot of bugs and mosquitos around, some arrangements to keep them out would be helpful. We were forced to sit outside even though the insides were empty, because they had other reservations coming in later that night. It wasn't very comfortable and hence I'd recommend making a reservation beforehand."
"we went for dollar taco day and for a deal like that u really cant go wrong no matter what u get honestly. we got every shrimp/fish/seitan/veggie type of taco, a total of 11 tacos i believe for 12 dollars which was crazy. the seitan wasnt good at all, but the rest were valid. would they be worth the price on a nondollar taco day? debatable, but definitely an insane deal as a college student that once a week,, id def go w friends. it was busy when we went and there was an hour wait, but there were seats empty and we sat in one while waiting. atp they really couldve j served us bc we waited nearly the hour anyway even tho no one ever came to sit in those seats. there were few waiters so we felt bad, but i feel like they mayb shouldve known the rush dollar taco night causes. overall def worth it for those deal nights, n tacos were pretty good !!"
