Reviews of Chamas De Minas-Brazilian SteakHouse
"Was told the sides were authentically Brazilian, the kind you don't get at the expensive chain steakhouses. Chicken salad was best I ever had in my life and the meats were so delicious. Kinda pricey if you get the "per pound" option. You're better off getting the "all-you-can-eat" option and come hungry."
"This was the absolute worst Brazilian food ive ever had !! The sides bar had barely any options. Plain white rice spinach fries and onion rings ??? Everything was cold. We had to ask for new meat while ordering because even that was cold. When we sat at our tables and tasted the meat it tasted and looked like yesterdays meat. My mouth still hurts on my 30 minute drive home from trying to chew. We left our plates full and paid $61.00 for the worst lunch possible!"
"The people were nice, helpful, and professional (so, 3 stars). But, the food... looked and tasted awful. I drove 17 miles to the restaurant; so, of course, the intent was to sit down and eat. Just imagine me driving, visualizing the food I saw on the website, walking in with a big smile, trying to hide my excitement, and then... stunned at how bad, dried out, and unappetizing the food on the long buffet looked (and I mean ALL of it). I was deflated, when I realized that the pics on the website didn't come close to what I saw in person. I was too invested in buying something; because, well... the people were so nice. I ended up getting something on the bakery side of the restaurant, hoping for the best. The flan was sitting behind the glass case and it wasn't until I drove away and opened it later did I realized that the flan expired, TODAY, meaning it was old and if I saved it for tomorrow or the next day, it wasn't the best idea to eat. So, I took a few bites (it was actually delicious!); but, I ended up chucking it (the psychology of me and expiration dates have history). I also bought something that resembled a chicken kabob dipped in a thick batter ($3.25). It smelled great; but, I took a bite and had to throw it away. It was over-fried, very salty, very sweet at the same time, and dried out. The only purchase I enjoyed was the tropical fountain drink. I really wanted to like this place and I am sure there are people that do. I even lingered around for a few minutes, convincing myself that the people were so nice; so, the least I could do is be a good neighbor and buy something, anything and then head out. I'm a sucker for nice people."
"I recently ordered their large 16 inch pepperoni pizza on Thursday 8/18/22 via UberEats and it was ,very delicious, tasted fresh , and had both a gourmet as well as homemade quality to it . Their fries were also well cooked and quite flavorful. I will for sure be ordering from here again and I can't wait to try out the other wonderful items on their menu since I am a big fan of Brazilian cuisine . Everyone should order form here, because their food is undeniably exceptional."
"Bem gostoso! My husband and I have lived in Brazil for 2 years, and are back in the States for a while. We were missing our salgados (snacks) and found this place."
