"Absolutely disappointing... I have been following this page on IG ever since I had a taste of my Friend's food several months ago. I ordered stuffed salmon, mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything was subpar... the salmon had skin on it and it was completely flavorless and dry, even the little bit of filling was bland and tasteless. The greens tasted like they had spent time on the grill or smoker and were very dry. The mac and cheese was the absolute worst, looked and tasted like scrambled eggs with cheese. Definitely not worth the $30 I paid for it."

"I had a taste for some soul food and one of my friends have posted them a few times so I went and tried it. I got fried fish Mac & cheese; string beans and an order of seafood salad. The fish was ok; Mac and cheese just tasted like cheese and the string beans was flavorless, I didn’t care for the seafood salad. I just feel it wasn’t worth the price, I think I’ll try again though because it could’ve just been this day."

"It may look like your average soul food spot, but “Savory Meals by Meek” is not! My husband and I wanted to patronize the newly black owned female restaurant, since it opened 3 months ago. We finally made it, 1hr away. We ordered the $1 shrimp as appetizers and they didn’t even make it 3 blocks away. We had the buttery steamed and fried shrimp both were delicious, you won’t go wrong with your choice, the seasonings are definitely Savory. On to our main entrée; the salmon was robust with flavor but not overpowering and grilled just right, the whiting’s a nice size and flavorful, the mac n cheese beautiful and yummy, consistent with cheese, the greens with the taste that your grand mom made them! My daughter’s spinach turkey burger was handmade, fresh, tasty and on a buttered bun, just plain ole perfecto! To top everything off, the home made sweet potato and strawberry cheesecake was heavenly!! Meek’s food is perfect for casual or date night, everything was reasonably priced right. We are planning our next visit. ….. The owner, her son and the other worker was very pleasant. I pray for her long gevity success…"
