"Today was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I want to start with the lady at the counter taking orders, she was extremely pleasant and professional, awesome vibes from everyone I seen behind the counter. Thank you, it’s nice to step into an establishment and not be hit with a bunch of workers who have attitudes. I knew I would be back off this alone! We ordered 2 rib platters one with yams the other Mac n cheese and both platters had greens. The ribs OMG the ribs were so tender just melted in your mouth, would have been nice to taste more seasoning however they were delicious I will order them again. The yams…I’m not sure what I think about them, first time for me with the pineapple mixed in yams a little sweet. I will need to try them again…the collard greens, to me didn’t taste like they were seasoned, would have been great to have some smoked turkey meat or even flavor of the smoked meat. I thought they were bland! What I will say about those collard greens they were cleaned well, I could taste it! The cornbread was delicious and the Mac and cheese must of been good because my husband didn’t say otherwise. He also did like the greens and was very satisfied with the ribs as well. I can’t wait to go back and try other items on their menu."

"I got the fish platter, with Mac and cheese and yams. The fried fish and baked mac are both very good, fish is well-seasoned, Mac is cheesy. Yams are far too sweet, and have chunks of pineapple, and they’re cubed. I do prefer my yams mashed. Also, I had the collard greens and there is no smoked meat in it (doesn’t have to be) but it also has this sugary/sweet taste that wasn’t very good, and left a weird aftertaste. I added hot sauce and salt and pepper to it, and it tasted better. I give the platter a 8 overall. In my personal opinion, I think the yams and collard greens should be reworked and to feel more like soul food sides and comfort. The fish and Mac are both undeniably good. The potato salad is good as well."

"Only 6 people in line and waited for 50 minutes for a platter. Fish/Smoked Mac & Cheese was ok, but COLD. Pineapples in the yams was odd. Corn bread was wet on the bottom, had to toss it. **Poor customer service from Danni, she had a funky attitude while only asked a question as a first time customer. Couldn’t believe Danni was going back & forth with an elder female customer and said “ that’s what I said” to her SMH. I really intended to support this small business after seeing a review by JL Jupiter SMH. Take down JL Jupiter photo if you’re not displaying high quality service."
