"We were excited to try AAC based on Google reviews. Ordering online was easy, staff were friendly, and the food was ready promptly. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was really poor. We ordered several chicken dishes, two versions of fried rice, dumplings, and chicken spring rolls. The dumplings were good, although the sauce was unusually sweet so we used our own sauce. The spring roll was the oddest thing any of us had ever seen. When you bit into it, it was just a solid piece of chicken wrapped in the dough - I wish I had taken a picture. There were no vegetables inside at all and the meat wasn't even shredded; as if they just wrapped up a chicken breast. The general Tso's chicken and the Sesame chicken tasted exactly the same; the only difference was that one order had sesame seeds on it. But honestly, both sauces really tasted like sweet and sour; heavy on vinegar and sugar and light on savoriness or any other kind of flavor. Another member of my party who is known for liking her food very bland complained about lack of flavor. The fried rice was very dry - we had to smother it in sauce to eat it. Maybe we caught them on an off night, because this experience is obviously quite different than other reviews - but I thought we should let people know. The value for money is good here at a time when prices have been going up and up - but you may get what you pay for."
"Great quality food. 10/10 recommend to try this place! Food was delicious and portions were generous! We ordered Veggie Lo Mein, Veggie spring rolls, veggie fried rice. So glad I found this place."
"Ardmore: this is your new takeout Chinese food place. Two tiers above anything else I’ve had around here in my 15 years in Ardmore. The place is clean, the owners welcoming, and the food very fresh and delicious. They also use mostly easily recyclable/compostable brown cardboard containers that are just the right size. The dumplings, Spring rolls and Beef Lo Mein were all the best I’ve ever had from a takeout place. I can”t wait to go back. I’m worried that the inner neighborhood location will make it difficult for them to drum up enough business to make it, which would be heartbreaking. So I’m here, politely imploring you to check them out. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did, as they are in a class of their own, truly."
"Ordered veggie fried rice, garlic sauce eggplant, and black bean past tofu. All three dishes are delicious, not too salty or greasy. Great portion and GREAT PRICE. Delivered to doorstep within 20 minutes. Highly recommend it."
"Haven't had too many offerings here (don't do battered & fried chicken things), but the lo mein & broccoli chicken tasted fresh, homemade (a good thing) & bright in flavor. Wish there were more variety (or specials) but for the low prices, can't beat it. Worth checking out."
