"I took a friend and their pet here. I was impressed by the doctor, assistant and staff. I watched how they handled every animal as if it was their own. The Vet was very good at explaining and checking out my friends bird. I would recommend this Vet practice."
"Our cat was sick and our vet could not see her for some time and told us to take her to the ER. We did not want to do that so I called here. They were able to see us just a few days later. They did a great job figuring out the problem. While the diagnosis was not a good one they treated our cat like they had been seeing her forever."
"The staff is always wonderful with our Rottweilers. Cooper attacked our riding mower's tires and had a canine tooth hanging and chipped another one. Both were extracted under anesthesia. He's on the mend!"
"We had a chicken that required euthanasia which few vets can/will do. When I called, a person answered the phone (versus a voicemail or phone tree). Bridget listened to my request, answered my questions and fit me in that day. Upon arrival, the front staff were friendly and welcoming. The process was easy. If we lived closer, we would definitely consider them as our regular practice."
"I had the great misfortune to be assigned the Dr. Kellyher when I was seeking a specialist for my rescued rabbit, Domino. She removed a cancerous testicle, but did no follow up, even when the pathology came back as malignant. She brushed it off and lead me to believe nothing more needed done. Fast forward a few weeks when Domino had a stasis emergency. I took him to Hunt Valley when her office refused to see him. That vet took an X-ray and let me know there was a strange mass in his abdomen. She also recommended an ER for his stasis. There, they did an ultrasound where that doctor also said there was a mass. I gather all notes and bring Domino back to her . After all, she’s a “specialist “. She not only didn’t apparently read any of the notes or findings, she said she needed a new ultrasound. So I paid her $600 to do that. Supposedly. Her determination was there was nothing there. All clear. Forward 6 months and he again has an emergency and again every vet who reads the notes immediately know something is wrong. He now is undergoing radiation treatments for the mass that was not only THERE, but now LARGER and more complicated. Maybe people who don’t care about animals shouldn’t do this work I specifically said to her he is not a throw away to me. She didn’t care enough to even look at the notes and I doubt she actually did an ultrasound. Really hoping you read this as you should feel deeply shamed. Will be looking at malpractice options as well. It may be that Kharma has to settle it."
