"Had a great breakfast at Poppi's. The vegetable omelet was very large and tasted great. The prices are reasonable. The server was very good, attentive when needed."
"Clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast! Consistently good food and service. Can't say enough about this place. Friendly folks and friendly patrons."
"Service was great as always. Food wasn’t as good as it normally is. The chipped beef was not good and tasted gluey. Breakfast sandwich was ok."
"A decent place for Saturday brunch! We came here during Saturday mid-morning without advanced reservations and we were able to grab a seat without a problem. Plenty of parking spaces were available outside as well. The café is quite cozy with a friendly atmosphere and deep appreciation for its regular guests (that is shown by the many pictures hanging on the walls all around). It's a dinner style café, meaning you get served at the table but you have to pay your bill at the cashier desk. The service is nice, attentive and friendly to its customers. I did enjoy the Greek omelet - basically a standard omelet with tomatoes and spinach, filled with pieces of feta cheese. It was very well done and tasty. However the homefries, as a side dish, were awful - something that should be taken out from the menu I believe. They were blunt, burned and very mushy, almost like eating 3 days old cooked potatoes! I could not finish it even though I was super hungry! Banana walnut french toast was, however, a great way to forget about the homefries aftertaste. I loved the fact I could pour as much maple syrup over as I wanted! I was a bit disappointed that only regular coffee was on the menu, no milk based alternatives such as cappuccino or flat white were an option. Even though it's a nice place with good food for a very reasonable price I will not be returning, as this is not my style of dining. Food *** Service ***** Paid by card. Visited in March 2023."
"Different Cheesesteak #906. My string of good stops continues. It was 10 am so I asked if they had a cheesesteak and egg sandwich, it wasn’t on the menu but they made it for me. A wonderful young woman took my order. I went with her suggestions, provolone cheese, home fries and peppers and onions on the home fries. Great suggestions and a great meal for $9. Nice fresh traditional roll. Good amount of good meat. The eggs were mixed in nicely. The cheesesteak had very good balance."
