"STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I so wanted to call this salon home, but my most recent visit, which was only my 3rd, was a TOTAL DISASTER! Phyllis agreed to take me after the time she normally takes appointments, and then complained about how tired she was after working all day, not having a break or eating, as if I created those circumstances. I was a little late, but I called her and she said it was fine. Please also note, I drove 77 miles from Hackensack to get there!! I was informed after arriving that she does NOT comb out or shampoo hair that was just taken out of braids, as that's too much work and she was way too tired to even consider doing it. She said there's usually a fee charged to do that. I said I'd pay for it, and she still wouldn't do it. I had to comb out my own hair, and then hear more complaints the entire time she shampooed my hair, gave me color and conditioned my hair! After she put me under the dryer she was able to eat, after which she returned being very apologetic for her behavior. Well it was too late at that point, the damage was done and I knew I'd never return!! Finally, to add insult to injury, as she begins combing my hair out to blow dry it, my hair became severely tangled, which she pulled apart with a comb, until my hair broke away, resulting in me walking away with several inches less hair than I had when I arrived to the salon! I was devastated!! She tried to tell me it was because I didn't shampoo my hair prior. I HAVE NEVER had to shampoo my hair PRIOR to going to the salon, and I've never had my hair break away like that, and I've been going to the salon for 30+ years!! She wrecked my hair, and any future chance of me returning!!"

"Phyllis is delightful and great with caring for natural (not chemically treated) hair. COVID protocols in place. Feel very safe here. Busy, but quick and accommodating. Crystal will work hard to fit clients in. Spa services available (Candace is wonderful.) Highly recommend. Christ honoring operation where all are welcome!"

"I LOVED my first experience here and have since been back a few times and already set up 3 more visits. The salon is beautifully set up and the wax esthetician Candace is so sweet and creates such a relaxing environment. This was only my 3rd time (3rd place) getting a Brazilian was but by far the best. She takes her time, is very thorough while still being quick and when I leave I feel smooth and beautiful!!! The cancellation process was perfect for me when I needed it as well and the staff is so friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"
