Reviews of Lusvianca Hair Salon Inc
"The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. They are great and patient with kids. My daughter is very tender headed and loved her time there and the results. We will definitely be back!"
"Highly Recommend this Salon. I went in for a blow dry, manicure and eye brows and the stylist did an excellent job with my hair at a very good price. The stylist even provided me with some tips on how to make my hair look more healthy since i had highlights in my hair. The nail tech was AMAZING, she was able to get my nails done at the same time the other stylist was doing my hair and she listened to what I wanted and was very nice."
"My mom went to try this place for a haircut, with a clear picture of what she wanted. It was a picture of Jennifer Aniston’s cut, with long hair. The cut looked nice coming out when it’s done up, but it was cut way too short. We thought it was going to be fine… until the next day. When she woke up the next morning she was horrified. She noticed uneven cuts, even shorter hair where there shouldn’t be, and almost impossible to style to her liking. She’s severely emotionally distressed over it, and when she went back to ask them about it, they refused to fix or give her the money she spent back, giving a nasty tone and saying that “she was happy when she left” instead. All she really wanted was her money back, she’s afraid to have them even fix it because she doesn’t want it to be even worse. She can’t even put it into a ponytail! The receptionist had an attitude and did not treat her with respect. My mom was the only white woman in there both days she went into the salon, and that usually isn’t a problem, but with the way she was treated she felt incredibly uncomfortable, like she didn’t belong. My mom’s hair stylist didn’t speak English, but seemed nice. The receptionist had to keep coming over to overseer the cut and translate. We assume in that case, she is the owner or supervisor. She was never treated this way at any other of the plethora of salons she’s been to in her life, with the stylists in their slippers and acting unprofessional. She’s never coming back, and we are both telling people to steer far and away from this overpriced bootleg piece of work. Do not come here if you value your hair! There are better places to go that will treat you with value like a human being!"
"I have previously given Lusvianca Hair Salon a 5-star rating in the past. However, my last three visits have been spoiled by incidents that have left me with no choice but to share my recent disappointing experiences. 1st Experience: During my visit, a disruptive incident occurred involving a food delivery driver and a former receptionist. The use of a racial slur by the former receptionist was deeply unsettling, to which myself and one other client spoke up about. It is essential for any business, especially one located in a diverse community, to maintain a professional and inclusive environment. 2nd Experience: On a busy day when I only needed a hair wash, I was charged $25 instead of the usual $15. Despite my clear instructions, the stylist insisted on drying my hair, which I repeatedly declined. While I paid the full amount and tipped generously, this experience left me feeling that my preferences were not respected. 3rd Experience: I experienced gossip and misjudgment during my appointment, based upon the perceived texture of my hair. (I previously had African braids in my hair, so when I took the braids out the evening before my appointment, my hair took on a kinkier wave pattern than usual). The stylist and receptionist exchanged comments and looks based on their assumptions about me, as he was doing my hair, because they didn't know I spoke Spanish. Although undeserved, I still paid in full and tipped generously. At the end of the day, whether my hair was kinky or not, discussing a client's appearance in their presence (or at all, for that matter) is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. It's crucial for all customers to receive quality service, regardless of their appearance. I would like to clarify that I do not hold the owner responsible for the negative experiences or the behavior of their employees. I have had positive experiences at Lusvianca in the past, and I understand that not all stylists may be problematic. However, these recent incidents were unacceptable and tarnished my perception of the salon. In conclusion, I hope that Lusvianca Hair Salon takes these concerns seriously and addresses them to ensure a more inclusive and respectful environment for all clients. It is my hope that these issues will be addressed so that the salon can once again provide the high-quality service it was known for in the past."
"yea I would put zero if I could i first asked if there was any English speakers so that the language barrier would not cause any mishaps there was so I told them what I wanted and they referred me to another lady. Showed her the exact picture and emphasized that I wanted that but long since my hair was long to my waist. She said she understood and repeated back to me that I want it long still first thing she did was cut it short. My hair is chest length… that makes no sense. I also said i did not want to use any heat tools (I didn’t want my hair blown out since I did not want to damage it)she said she would dry it a little bit just so it wasn’t so wet, by this point I was over it since she already cut it way too short and I said ok. She proceeded to fully blow out my hair. I did not get what I asked for and she tricked me into overcharging me. I got charged 65$ for a haircut I absolutely hate. She did not care about what I wanted she just wanted her money. 0/5 stars would never recommend anyone to go here. Also all there coloring services use box dye as I saw it while they were washing my hair. If it is a salon why is there not a single professional color. In the pictures I will show the before and after of my hair. I literally just wanted the same shaping but longer and I went to great measures to ensure that happened and still left with a bad result since she was too scissor happy. Don’t go here lol they’re terrible."
