"I went to Wendy’s to get partial highlights. The service was good however my hair started breaking after the service. I’ve been getting my hair highlighted for over 10 years and never experienced breakage. I was going to let it go but when I realized how much of my hair broke I couldn’t. So I finally went to talk to the owner to request a partial refund due to the amount of breakage and was told that “maybe my hair broke because I flat iron my hair too much”. She asked how many times a week I flat iron my hair. LOL she made that assumption because my hair is straight and I guess her lack of knowledge with African American hair played a part in that comment. My hair is long and very healthy and I don’t even flat iron my hair weekly which is why I’ve never had issues before. The owner offered 20% off my next service, I don’t know why I would go back after this. I just wish she would have refunded something back after seeing something obviously went wrong. I paid $150 to have my hair break everywhere the blonde touched due to it being over processed. She also tried to tell me it was just breakage on my top area from the flat iron when I know for certain it’s all throughout the top. Too bad my stylist moved to Florida that’s the only reason I ended up here."
