"I wanted to wait a while before I gave a review because I wanted to give an indepth and honest review. I did ALOT of research into Japanese Hair Straightening and when I finally decided this is something I wanted to invest in I immediately reached out to Alex to schedule a consultation and appointment. I will admit, I was VERY thrown off by the initial price. This is something that you have to be invested in as it is expensive. I went in under the impression that this would be around $600 for the fully straight procedure and it was not even close to that! This is not to discredit Alex at all, but more so to let people know that this is a real investment and you have to be prepared to spend $1000+ for the full treatment. The procedure is long, about 5/6 hours, but Alex and his partner made me feel so comfortable the whole time. They provided movies and snacks and were very very patient with me when explaining what I needed to do in the after care process to ensure that my hair stays healthy and as straight as possible. That being said, my hair looks and is amazing. I was very skeptical that it wouldnt look as good or stay as straight when I washed it a week later, but I have been so surprised at just how easy and manageable my hair actually is. I used to take 2 hours to wash and straighten my hair, but now it takes me 25 minutes max. My hair feels so much healthier after the procedure, because Alex also cut off about 6 inches of dead and damaged hair and i am so happy with how much more professional it looks. I knew when i decided I wanted to invest in this procedure, it would be for the long haul and so to anyone that is considering this, just be willing to understand that the procedures afterwards are just as much an investment as the first time you go and so this isnt something you should do if you are only willing to get the procedure done once. I am alrady excited for my hair to keep growing and for my next appointment in 5 months time to get my roots and any growith redone. Alex has 100% changed my life and I am so obsessed with my new hair and the confidence that has come along with it, so thank you so so much Alex!!!"
