"I used to love going here but it seems like the food isn’t what it used to be. The service is still good which is great and the servers are all personable so no issues there. Just wish for the high prices they would match the quality of food. Overall not a horrible place to stop by if you are looking for breakfast but the prices have gone up so do expect to spend a little more than other diners."

"I dropped in on the diner early Sunday morning. I was trying to miss the rush that I assumed would be coming. I ordered their large breakfast of 3 pancakes, 2 eggs over easy, 3 strips of bacon, a sausage link and ham. The ham was flavorless, it taste like a canned ham was opened, heated on the flattop a few seconds and tossed on my plate. I will ask for an additional sausage link instead of ham the next time. The pancakes were good and I enjoyed the meal even though the ham was mid. The coffee was also kind of weak but I like a strong cup of coffee so opinions may vary. The service was great. The waitress was on point an staff very pleasant. I recommend them for breakfast just avoid the ham."

"I go to the diner when I have a hankering for soup. I ordered the open faced Reuben with fries. It came with coleslaw and pickle and my choice of soup. Split pea soup was sooooo good! I could taste something very delicious in there, maybe chicken stock? Maybe a mixture of carrots, onions, and celery? I don't know. I just know that I thoroughly enjoyed it and took the Reuben home for dinner. As soon as I came in they asked if I wanted a booth or a table. I said booth. This was a mistake because I'm a good 325 lbs and the table cannot be moved. Nevertheless I sat there and still enjoyed everything else. The busboy brought me two cups of water as soon as I sat down (probably thinking someone else was going to join me) for which I am forever thankful because I'm always thirsty! The coleslaw was sweet but a little watery for my taste. But the Reuben? Even cold and with the cheese a solid glob when I finally ate it later was delicious. A d can I just say the amount of thousand island dressing is just right? It came in a separate container so it didn't make the bread soggy. Good job kitchen! Top notch service too! I spent less than $20 for lunch, second lunch, and dinner (all one meal)."
