"I've ordered from mezah maybe 6 times in the past 4 months. The first 3 times were really good. The last 3, not so much. Not sure if they are short staffed or if I just got lucky the first few times, but the quality has declined to the point that I won't order again. I usually get the same bowl with different sauces. The last 2 orders came without my sauce or any flavor. The last order was also incorrect. Maybe someone else's as many of my ingredients are missing, and many I didn't order were included. The food is also watered down now. The rice was soggy and wet, not very appetizing. I probably won't order again. That sucks because I really liked them at first."
"Really nice atmosphere upon first walking in. Place is very bright, pretty, and colorful with lots of seating. They have a lot of options for proteins, toppings, and sauces and you can choose as many toppings as you wish. Portions are a good size. I got the chicken kebab which was pretty tasty. Only criticism is the staff could use some more training. They don’t smile or talk very clearly or loudly. They just kinda look at you until you say something. One staff member blew into the plastic glove to open it up before putting it on and serving customers’ food. They use spoons and tongs but still not the most hygienic. The restaurant is new so I hope they will improve over time. Definitely will return for the good food. I do recommend giving them a try."
"Authentic, flavorful and mouthwatering!! Highly recommended! The real authentic Mediterranean cuisine! Loved the sauces and meat tenderness!! 9/10"
"First time at Mezeh was super excited to finally have a good halal option nearby but boy I was in for a disappointment. Before going I read the reviews and should have probably taken a queue from all the negative reviews. They are all correct. But I read one review where the person pleaded that since there are few halal options around to keep an open mind and I decided to give it a fair shot and make my own opinion. I went in this past Saturday evening around 6pm and there was not a single customer in with 5 -6 employees behind the counter. I stood by the counter and nobody acknowledged or paid attention. I asked 3 times where to order and finally got a response from one and started my order. I ordered chicken bob and lamb Mediterranean bowl. I was told cabbage is not available and that was ok told the person to add a replacement. See the photos of the quantity, half bowls are empty. $17 for the lamb and there was so little that I had to ask if that's all I get for $17. The person ignored my comment and I asked again what he said that it's actually $12. I asked him again if he's sure it's $12 to be didn't respond while it clearly stated on the menu it's $17. So the service and experience was 0 stars for me but still I was hoping that the food will make up for everything. Well that wasn't the case unfortunately. Ingredients tasted stale, dry and lacking any Mediterranean flavors. The flavors were like a frozen meal. Certainly the worst Mediterranean I've had. But if I've to rank it compared to Chipotle even I would suggest sofritas from Chipotle so you can stay halal is 100000% better option than this. It's way cheaper more flavorful than what ever Mezeh is selling. 0 stars for the experience, 0 stars for service, 0 stars for the quality and flavor of the food, 0 stars for the value for the money and 0 stars as a halal option. I will never be back and will never recommend this place even when I'm stuck with very few halal options in the area I will stay away."
"Skip it. Blue Fig Cafe less than a mile away is far superior. Mezeh has a beautiful decor for a quick service restaurant. Allot of thought and money went into the ambiance at Mezeh. You don't eat decor unfortunately. Food is the purpose of a restaurant. Great food brings the customers back. The food here was sadly underwhelming. Lots of choices of cheap ingredients to choose from. A sullen staff that acted like they didn't want to be bothered. Obviously they overlooked the demographics of this semi-affluent area in regards to friendly customer service. This lack of polish is maybe the reason why the staff outnumbered the customers 3 to 1. Blue Fig Cafe nearby has much better cuisine and friendly service. The concepts are totally different yes, but for few bucks more you get excellent quality, generous portions, truly genuine hospitality-service and a overall a better value perception in my opinion. That is what the Mediterranean culture and it's restaurants are all about! Great food and hospitality."
