Dockside Bensalem

"This was my first visit post-rebranding (for the second time) and I think Dockside is an improvement over those previous iterations. The food was delicious, from the crispy ahi tuna appetizer to the baked Chilean sea bass cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had the gelato assortment (the strawberry vanilla is to die for!) - topped with a candle for my birthday and accompanied by a nice rendition of Happy Birthday by Jack Kidd, who was performing that night. Now it could be due to the fact that it's early January, but I kept thinking that this place needs to be more hopping on a Friday night. The new ownership really put a lot of effort into renovating the building and it shows. There's a cozy yet hip vibe, and a nice well-stocked bar if you fancy one of their delicious cocktails. The staff are warm and friendly, and our server Bailey was attentive and helpful. I bet once the weather warms up and the patio is open Dockside will be much more lively - but don't sleep on this place during the colder months, either. If you're looking to change up your restaurant rotation, consider adding this place to the list."

"First time going to this restaurant after new management took over… The place is still very nice and was super quiet on a Saturday at 12. They have a decent menu. Food was ok but definitely needs more flavor and seasoning. Mac and cheese and burgers could use garlic powder, onion powder, pepper etc. Service was good. Would give it overall a 6/10. Price was ok for 2 burgers with Mac & cheese, 2 mimosas, and a side of truffle fries for $55."

"Came here for dinner on a Thursday night and had the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious, from our crab cake dip appetizer to my chicken dinner with the most delicious potato’s all the way to our lava cake and fried donuts for dessert (we had to get both because we couldn’t decide)!! Everything was 10/10. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the dishes came out quickly and were hot. What more could you ask for!! To top it all off, we had Brian as our server… and he made our night. He was so friendly, got us whatever we needed & joined in on our fun conversations (without being overbearing!!!) Dockside is deff a new favorite of mine! Can’t wait to come back soon ♥️"
