"For starters, I had a hard time finding the place. I was under the impression that I would be coming to a hair salon due to the pictures but it is actually in the back of a barbershop. In order to get to the salon area you have to walk through a crowd of men. False advertisement as it looks nothing like the pictures. The place is very unsanitary and needs work. Came for a 4pm appointment and ended up not leaving the shop until midnight. If you make an appointment, make sure to come hours early or else you will not be leaving until the next day. The washer could not find any of the product to wash my hair, she had to dig through tubs of old shampoo and conditioner bottles to get some product to wash my hair. I recommend you bring your own shampoo and conditioner. I was afraid to use the bathroom due to the state of the salon however I couldn't hold it! Sadly enough my assumption was proven to be true as there was no soap or anything to dry my hands. At this point my hair had been already washed and conditioned. I did not get into the chair until around 9pm! The salon is extremely understaffed and Joy seems to be the only person who does the hair. She did not allow anyone else to do the hair, only prepare it. It is very uncomfortable there as there is a revolving door of men coming in and out of the barbershop. None of the customers there had on a mask or gloves and there were about 6 people crammed into one room. I decided to sit in another area to wait as I was unaware of who was COVID 19 negative. I was on edge this entire experience but desperately needed my hair done. When I finally got into the chair, Joy began making complaints about how tired she was and how her fingers and back were burning. She was also taking Face Time calls very loudly. I was referred to her due to her skill however, I would not recommend as the experience, aesthetics and professionalism were poor and those things are just as important as the skill."
