"Fantastic all-around. My husband and I made a reservation for dinner on a Thursday evening in December. We had the entire place to ourselves for half of the dinner, which was shocking because the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The restaurant has an intimate, upscale but cozy atmosphere. You can tell that the owner takes pride in his dishes and care in selecting quality, local ingredients. We ordered the crab soup, cheese board, the whole rabbit, and the cheesecake tart with coffee; everything was flavorful and made for the perfect, comforting winter meal. The rabbit came with mashed potatoes and root vegetables that were seasoned and cooked sooo well. The restaurant is byob so we were able to have a nice bottle of wine with dinner without spending a fortune. I highly recommend this hidden gem!"
"Owner was a a bit short staffed and ended up serving us himself. We loved it. Food was delicious, the half duck and rabbit especially. The desert and tea at the end just capped off an amazing dining experience"
"Went for dinner with my boss. We shared the duck. Loved the family style pf serving dishes. The duck was delicious as well as the side dishes and appetizers that cane with it. Service was impeccable. Very recommended!"
"What a find in Fishtown, Philadelphia! The unique blend of teas to choose from satisfied each of our tastes. Afternoon tea on a cooler rainy day was perfect for our fall visit. We could tell the chef/owner’s passion for his work, and we reaped the benefits as his guests at his table. The delicious and creative food paired with the tea was appreciated and enjoyed!"
"Nice charming place! Chef is passionate about his heredity and food. Homey feeling and service is personalized. Must try!"
