"Most workers are nice but the prices are extremely high. Many way above msrp. West Marine bought up their competitors so they could raise prices. Unless I need a product today I would not buy from a West Marine. Update. Still the same!!"

Update:4/16/2023. Looking for a specific fastener and matching seat, was helped by a young lady who took a lot of her time searching the internet for me. We did not find it but she did give me some ideas on what to do next. Clearly above and beyond once again."

"This is one of the only stores I’ve ever been in where the whole aura of the place was unpleasant. All 3 employees I interacted with were very awkward. I could almost smell that one of them had been drinking all night the night before and were possibly still tipsy, the older gentleman laughed because we were on a budget, basically said we shouldn’t own a boat if we are on a budget and walked away, and on my second trip to the store after being given a date of arrival for my order, the young lady told me my order was there but on a pallet that they hadn’t unloaded yet because they were short staffed, when I said I’d wait, she came back a min later and said it wasn’t there and I’d have to come back in a few days. I’m almost thinking she didn’t feel like looking. The prices are ridiculous and the associates are not very knowledgeable or customer service orientated. I don’t like this store at all. I’ll be ordering from somewhere else."
