"Nice, comfortable salon. I liked the stylist as a person but the quality of work was lacking. I am not picky about my haircuts for the most part- I tend to ask for a trim & long layers. I needed to find a salon closer to home so I decided to try out salon Capelli. I'm writing this a day after my appointment as I was able to take a closer look once I got home as the stylist had a client after me. The attention to detail I think was the issue as my front layers were not checked (stylist comes to the front of you & pull layers to check for equal length) & as you can see in the photos they're not even. I asked for a middle part, so both sides should look the same but they're completely different lengths. There wasn't much blending, so it looks a bit choppy. As a person, I don't know all the ins & outs of hair cutting, but I do know this doesn't look even & blended. I'm writing this on a Sunday & they're closed. Their policy is to reach out within 48 hours-- so I'm hoping someone gets back to me because this haircut wasn't cheap & I don't feel comfortable with the state my hair is in after the service. Update: I received a call pretty quickly after posting the review. We scheduled another appointment, this time with Trinh. She was attentive & explained everything she was doing as she fixed the layers to even it out on both sides. She made sure I was given time to look at my hair & to touch it, shake it about. As I've said previously, I think this salon is nice & comfortable. Trinh is really wonderful. I just wish I didn't have the initial experience I did. I think there are wonderful people here who do their best to make sure the finished result is as clients would like it. So, as with anything, try it out & if it works for you then great! I'm glad I returned to have my hair fixed & was in the company of people who care about their work & their clients."
