"I don’t know what to say here other than management really needs to get it together. I have had 2 wonderful experiences here this past summer, but tonight was plainly ridiculous. While waiting for a table, we sat at the bar and it took several minutes for us to even get the attention of a bartender. A few sips in, the text came that a table was ready. No sign of a bartender to pay, so I sit at a table while my SO tries to pay. Again, several minutes later he pays and comes to the table. We had absolutely no service at all for likely 10 minutes. At this point we finished our drinks from the bar and decided to leave. In total we spent 25 minutes here, with just 1 round of drinks to show for it. This is not against the staff but management. The only waitress I saw was running around helping tables, while the host was running food, bussing tables, and sitting parties. The most ridiculous was that the bartenders were running food AND restocking beer cans from the other room to behind the bar. The staff here are working beyond their job descriptions and it shows in the customer experience. I understand it is difficult to hire these days but this was beyond reasonable. I hope to try again when the rooftop is open."
"Been here several times for drinks. Beer has always been pretty solid. I know it is a smaller brewery but I wish they could rotate beers more. I come around once a month and it feels like there is only 1 or 2 new beers on tap. Just got food for the first time tonight and the chili garlic wings were absolutely phenomenal. I love spicy and these wings certainly live up to it. If you haven’t been here stop by!"
"I tried their two IPAs available (Clearview & Float) and neither were anything special. Not bad but not great unfortunately. However, the brisket noodles were incredible! and INCREDIBLYY spicy. The brisket was dry and didn’t taste like much, however, making it a little disappointing especially with a $20 price tag. But overall the noodles and the spice made it delicious! Not sure yet if I’ll be back, though I would come back for the noodles over the beer. Their other food looked very good as well! Updated: Second time here and the service is still terrible."
"Nice taproom bar and tables, great menu and food. Good beer selection and full bar. Clean and friendly service."
"We just visited East Branch for the first time and can confirm this is an awesome spot for both beer snobs and foodies. The taproom/restaurant is housed on the second floor of a refurbished stone building with an adjacent municipal parking lot. They have an outdoor space that looks like fun once the temperatures increase. Inside, you’ll find a warm, industrial chic vibe that matches the exterior with several TVs, a pool table, and a partially open kitchen. Between the bar, a few communal tables, and a couple standard tables they offer ample seating, but it does fill up quickly. The menu boasts a broad selection of tables innovative options spanning from smoked brisket to Asian inspired dishes and elevated comfort food. We had a tough time choosing and our bartender confirmed everything is good. Ultimately, we went with the Brisket Noodles and Kale Salad. The noodles were saucy, spicy, and tender and that brisket was perfectly cooked. The salad paired blue cheese, spiced apples, and bacon with a light dressing to create one of the best salads I’ve had. Considering the prices, portions, and flavors...incredible value! They brew their own beer and offer flights. Everything I sampled was solid, but I’d highly recommend their cocktails. My fiancée went with the basil lemonade, and it didn’t disappoint. They also offer a small selection of wines and ciders. It was crowded so service was a bit slow, but both bartenders were friendly and passionate about the food and drinks. Highly recommend for incredible food, solid drinks, and a great atmosphere."
