"I had Karyn as my stylist on 8-21-23. I went for a good cut and perm. I said I used white and gray rods, changed the white for pink. After the cut, I thought to myself that I may want top shorter, but upon seeing the difference between the pink (much smaller) and white, I thought just maybe it will work out. Well, this has been one of my top 3 perms during my life!!!! I will go back for color and I may just ask for her to shorten a tad. We'll see. Kudos to the Stroud Mall JC Penney's Salon! It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish!!!!"

"Hello again, my name is Abdeltif, and I was a customer at the JC Penng Salon, and let me just say, Salon...more like Saloon! Don't get me wrong, they did a phenomenal job on my hair. It was like somehow the lady cutting it managed to ADD length! It was crazy. That's why they get three stars, but boy oh boy, the ladies (and one gay troubled youth) who work in there are alcoholics! The whole placed smelled like wine and chocolate liquor. I don't know if this is common, but in my home country of Western Sahara, drinking on the job is a federal offense with a minimum sentence of 12 years in prison and 31 years in service to the Supreme leader (32 if you are cought drinking French wine.) Even with all this, the young lady who cut my hair did a great job, and I hope she can find a house and not be homeless anymore, because if anyone deserves not to be homeless it's her. A quick side note, the short lady who works in the JC Penny store is very nice, and she helped me pick out a shirt for the Uncle Kashimir's 70th birthday party!"

"Don’t say your going to a wedding cause they will charge you more money! I was charge $100 plus with tip for a hairstyle that I could have done better myself if I had the time and I wasn’t even part of the wedding! I believe I was charged for some hair pins I didn’t even ask for as well. The style was so off and awkward! Michelle did a terrible job. So very disappointed! A style should never cost that much for one day!!!"

"I enjoyed every second of my appointment! I had Julie who was very attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to! Hair color came out beautifully and I would definitely recommend her for anybody who is interested in getting their hair colored or even just cut! Thank you Julie!
