"I am a regular customer at Playa bowls often bringing my family and friends at least 2-3x a week. I am usually very happy with my bowls as well as the customer service from the Playa team! Unfortunately, when I went in today for my bowl around 6pm, I was greeted with such rudeness and disdain. A girl with blond hair in a low, messy bun, with green pants and a black t-shirt with a dark grey sweatshirt had no customer service skills. I’ve had a rude encounter with her before. She was cold, didn’t even greet me and in the harshest tone asked me “What do you want?” I was so taken back by her attitude and complete disrespect. After she prepared my bowl, she carelessly tossed it on the counter without handing it to me and bleakly said,”Here you go. I am absolutely horrified and appalled by such horrible treatment. This was the worst experience I had ever had at Playa Bowls. And my bowl was a lot emptier than it usually is and messy. I don’t know if I feel safe to come back or if I can even trust the bowl that she’s made me. I am concerned she might have done something to it with how rude she was to me."

"They forgot the honey drizzle to both of the pura vida bowls we ordered, barely gave us any granola, & barely gave me any strawberries & blueberries which practically made up my whole bowl. The açaí base wasn’t smoothie-like but had a chopped ice consistency & didn’t taste as sweet & good like it usual does. It tasted like there was a key ingredient missing in it & the bowls looked like they ran out of things & were trying to stretch it out. I am a frequent customer & this is the second time they have slighted my smoothie bowl. For how expensive Playa Bowls is, experiences like this should not be happening. It really makes me feel like I’ve been robbed & slighted because I didn’t get my moneys worth at all & am very disappointed with my experience. I honestly wanted a refund given how much money I paid for the bowls but I sadly was already home. The employees working this shift have no customer service skills & the girl taking my order seemed to really be going through it. I came in a little before 6pm or so. Please train your employees to do right by the customers. Especially given the amount of money we are paying for these foods & to eat right."
