"Everything I've tried at Knishes and Dishes has been nothing short of phenomenal. Everything is so thoughtfully crafted, with a lot of care being put into the presentation. It all tastes amazing while also looking great. The veggies are always so fresh and crisp, and no matter what I get it's always robust and flavorful. The staff are always so friendly and a joy to interact with, and their service is super quick on top of that. I can personally recommend any and all of the sandwiches, the lox bagels, and the pumpkin pancakes. But you're sure to have something great no matter what you get."
"I always enjoy Knishes and Dishes. I usually get smoked fish on a bagel and a cup of matzo ball soup. Today I opted for pumpkin pancakes with maple walnut butter and beef and cabbage soup. Perfect for this cold day near Philly!"
"Take out matzoh ball soup was tasteless, a high water to vegetable ratio and no pieces of chicken. Worst soup ever. I had to add soy sauce to make it edible."
"Place is fire. The Kippered Salmon lox were amazing. The salmon was perfectly smoked. It was packed with flavor and flaky to the bite. I’ve never had had scrapple before. It is amazing. I could put it in my pocket and take bites of it through the day. Sooooo darn good. Solid home made cheese cake. Nom nom"
"It’s a shame, I used to really enjoy coming here for certain items for the last few years such as chicken salad. The last two times I’ve been there when I would get a pound container to go. It’s 25% mayonnaise. There should only be enough mayonnaise to keep it moist. Unfortunately I won’t be back I’m not spending $15-$17 for a pound of chicken salad is 25% of it is mayonnaise And they could definitely learn what extra extra lean, sliced thin corn beef means. It was cut way too thick and not trimmed properly. I grew up on Jewish soul food. Certain items here are definitely lacking The upside is, the staff is very nice."
